Performance and pricepoint
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"I upgraded from a 950 to this 980 when I needed to replace my cassette. I tend to go for "one below top notch" on the basis I can't justify the extra dosh for the difference at my level.
And as usual with SRAM I'm not disappointed. I've got a great looking, lightweight, seamless shifting cassette which so far after two months of racing shows virtually no signs of wear and tear. The separate alloy spider is a big improvement for me, and the quality of the sprockets is a big jump over the 950.
Long may it last!"

Easy to install
Pros: Great Value, Rugged, High Quality, Versatile, Good Fit
"Very happy with chain. Was going to get shimano chain but had just replaced rear cassette with SRAM, so decided to go with compatible chain. Very easy to fit due to clip link. (Must remember to get a spare link though!)"

"looks great, very good quality as you would expect.

cant see the need to spend the extra £20 odd on getting a cassette with colored spiders as you dont see it anyway!

Good Cassette
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"Two weeks on this cassette is runs really well. Smooth changes and good gear ratios. First time I have run a 32, I normally run a 34. The gearing is much more appropriate to my riding and works really well with a double up front. Price wise this product competes with Shimano XT which is one of the reasons I chose this one. Additionally friends had advised me to try a SRAM. Enjoy..."
