Good Upgrade / alternative
Pros: Attractive, Great Value
"My bike came with a FSA chainset that was not compact - 52/42 i think - so i want to upgrade / change to a compact due to entering a Fondo (help me up them hills!) so i thought i would stay with the FSA make as it was a nice looking crank and fairly cheap.
Easy to asemble and you can feel the difference when fitted and riding. No problems at all since fitting.

Recommended Compact Chainset
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Great chainset for the money. Looks great and is stiff. I use a carbon FSA compact on my other bike and cannot fault FSA chainsets. They are well worth a purchase. Generally cheaper than Shimano but do not lack in performance, quality and endurance."

Good value
Pros: Rugged
"For the price this is a good crankset, construction is good, no extra tools needed to fit the plugs (unlike Shimano), drops the ratios down nicely so you can hit those hills ......"

Pros: Attractive, Great Value, High Quality
"bought this to replace an old wobbly bottom bracket on the basis of other reviews on the site that said it was pretty good.
Easy to fit.
Nice and stiff (for someone like me - pretty average rider)
looks good.

Easy to install, improves climbing.
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Compared to the TRUTATIV it replaces, this was a stroll to install and remove (important to check if parts are easy to remplace on the road), it is of the same ilk of Shimano 105 parts.
The lovely trick of this chainset, is that you can turn around the inner chainring and convert it from 10 speed to 9/8 speed."

A great buy!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"Having put off buying a compact for a while now I decided to go for it and the FSA seemed the best value, and I haven't been wrong! It s light, looks good and makes Holme Moss rideable sat down....result!!"
