Top Notch Purchase
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"This product is absolutely worth its weight in gold. It was incredibly easy to fit and no additional expert tools were required. Sits beautifully on my mountain bike and holds my pannier bags with no difficulties. It's lightweight but still sturdy enough to carry a significant amount of weight. Having bought many items for both my road and mountain bike, I would have to say that this is a firm favorite. Highly recommended as excellent value for money and a great quality product."

Good sturdy rack

Pros: Attractive, Good Fit, High Quality
"I was initially a little concerned about this rack fitting my bike (a Boardman hybrid comp) but it had no problems. There is plenty of room around the disc brakes and the frames keep the panniers well away from the brake and the wheel.
It didn't take too long to fit, though did require allen keys and an adjustable spanner and the instructions were clear.
It is a little tight around the quick release mechanism of my bike, but is very sturdy and feels strong. The attachments available to at the rear fit only toppeak lights, but I managed to fit a cheap cateye onto the rack's frame without any problems. If you have a light that has a clip attachment, that should fit into one supplied (I didnt fit this, so its not in the pictures). There are separate rails for panniers slightly lower than the top rails to allow a bag to easily fit on top.
Its not the cheapest rack out there, but there is not a lot of choice for bikes with disc brakes at the moment and the bonus of not having to buy a separate mudguard sealed it for me.
It does feel like it will last a long time, I've been using it for a month to commute over very bumpy London streets without incident. The only thing I could think of to make it better would be an attachment at the rear that fits all types of light."

Rear rack for bike with disc brakes
Pros: Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Excellent product ---fitted very well-all bolts supplied fitted perfectly---downside--you have to bend the brackets which attach to top of frame--but this was easily done--I would recomend this rack to anyone looking for a product to fit bike with disc brakes--I fitted it to a mountain bike--the width was exactly right!!!"

Well made product
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I purchased this rack for my planned west highland way trip, It fits really well to the bike has adjustable top mounting rails & feels solid as if it's part of the bike, I fitted altura fuse 42l panniers which fit superbly to this rack with zero movement, I have been cycling local trails with weighted panniers to train for the WHW & the rack seems to be more than up for the job."

Just completed the West Highland Way & I have to say this rack done the job brilliantly only one little niggle is due to the constant rough terrain the two adjustable top rail arm bolts worked themselves loose I therefore tightened them with my multitool then I thought I'd check the bottom two bolts I was unable to tighten these bolts as the allen key on my multitool was not long enough to reach inside the racks bolt housing so had to hope that they were tight enough !! Later into the journey one of the lower bolts worked itself loose & fell out so rack was now balancing on the quick release wheel adjuster fortunatley I took some wire with me & was able to do a temp repair & hope that the other side would be OK. So I would recommened either carry a longer allen key that will reach inside the bottom bolt housing & or when fitting the rack to bike add some threadlock to the bolts prior to fitting so bolts lock into place & don't work loose. But all said I thought this rack done the job superb & would highly recommend.

Cons: Bulky
"Strong and easy to fit - would have help to fit light fitting prior to fitting rack to bike. Overall does the job required from it."

Great rack for bikes with disc brakes.
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Bulky
"As you would expect from Topeak, this is a very well built rack which i'm sure I will still be using in ten years time. I've tried attaching a normal pannier to my bike (which has disc brakes) but it never works very well. This rack provided a very simple solution, which is very quick and easy to fit.
The only possible downside is that, whilst very light, it is a little bulky. However i'm not sure it is possible to get around this with a rack designed for disc brakes.

Big lugs
Pros: High Quality
Cons: Bulky
"Having owned the non-disc version of this rack, I knew it would be a good quality rack.
The only downside was the standoffs that straddle the disc were rather large square lugs that required a small amount of filling to allow them to correctly fit."

Useful piece if kit
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Good Fit
"Bought this as I had a road bike with disc brakes on order. Bit fiddly to fit, but I used a workstand and after ten minutes it was on and only needed tweaking for the minor adjustments. Have now been using it fot the past three weeks and am very pleased. Carries a variety of luggage options includding the Carradice Bike Bureau and Agu Sport panniers.. Is also very reasonably priced. Good and prompt delivery from Wiggle also."

Just the job & good value.
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
"Lightweight. Relatively easy to fit to my bike (MuddyFox Fallout MTB) I had to cut the metal straps that connect from the rack to upper part of bike frame. I used and angle grinder to do this and also de-burr the sharp edges left from cutting it. Simple to bolt on thereafter.
Used locally, not fully laden though. Am planning to do a 10 day ride through Kerala, India, carrying everything I will need and am very optomistic it will do the job.
Rack supports my panniers well, Good wheel/disc brake clearance. Feels sturdyd and part of the bike, (I lifted the bike off the floor by the rear of the rack and hung it up to fiddle with the gears). Doesn't restrict access to bike. I think it's well designed.

Quality and easy to fit
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I was a bit worried about fitting a rack to the bike as it had disc brakes. No need to be. This was easy as anything to fit to the bike. It's sturdy and looks good too.
I have a Giant mountain bike. Whilst reseatching which rack to buy, I stupidly put " Giant Rack" into the Google search engine. I got a few, shall we say, unexpected search results!"

top
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"got for touring on boardman pro hardtail. works well albeit It really needs an adapter as no lugs on boardman, made it 'av it using race guard mudguard fixing on seat tube. did 300 mile with half off road 2 full pairs and no problems. the extension to get around discs make it wider than normal so just be aware when going through gaps or passing other panniered bikes. it was very tight fit around quick release but doable with a jiggle"

Good product
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Unattractive
"If you have a compatible Topeak pannier, this would be the right product for you. I have and is pretty easy to install and use. Panier attaches in seconds. I can also use it with a kids trailer (but I think that depends on your bike) Product is not pretty to see when fitted, but probably is just me..."

Good sturdy product
Pros: Durable, Rugged, High Quality
"I must confess that I had difficulty fiitting this to my Boardman Hybrid but this was down to my own inadequacy and a very small space to fit the rack. The rack is excellent and give a sense of rigidity and quality. The fit is very tight and I had to rotate my wheel bolts slightly to make it fit but ,despite me being a simpleton, it didn't take long to fit. I got some panniers to fit to the rack and the the rack doesn't move when they are on. Overall, a very good quality product that fits nicely on to bikes with disc brakes."

Secure but could be better
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Wears Out Easily
"Easy to fit to my bike (hybrid with disc brakes). It's not too bulky, I didn't notice the extra weight while cycling (even up hills) and it looks good. A very good investment as it stops me having to have a bag on my back, which lowers my centre of gravity while cycling (more stable) and stops me getting quite so sweaty.
Very secure fit and comes with fittings for attaching rear lights. My only gripe is that my panniers have a solid plastic backing, which is slowly rubbing away the protective black surface of the rack and exposing the metal beneath. This would not be a problem with soft panniers.

Quality rack
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable
Cons: Poor Fit
"Having struggling to get a rack to fit my Boardman Team Hybrid (with disc brakes) I came across this and was not disappointed. Superb rack and easy to fit (took approx 30 minutes to set up from start to finish). Superb build quality and a perfect mount for my Ortlieb Back Rollers. I would have no hesitation in recommending.
My only niggle would be with the lower rear mounts. These have been made from square section metal which makes clearance for refitting the rear wheel tight. If only the corners were rounded or round tube was used, this would have been much better.
Come on Topeak. Upgrade this bit and you have the best rack I have ever used.
