The only tape I use

"This is more than just tape, it's a total sensory experience. Cushioning, without being too much. Great grip in the wet. Stretches nicely for wrapping and sticks well. If you're careful you can also remove it and re-wrap it. It also looks good."

"Most comfortable tape on the market. Enough cushion to provide all day comfort whilst the elasticity and perforated finish provide unrivalled grip. Excellent adhesive backing, means the tape won’t slip on the bars after a few weeks, like thin cork or ribbon, and the tape’s natural stretch allows for easy and accurate bar wrapping.
Hot and sweaty or cold and wet, your hands stay firmly on the bars. Unlike cork and ribbon that lose their initial comfort and grip after a few hundred miles, Fizik Micro Tex retains both.

"This bar tape is great if you want cleanly wrapped bars. It is not bulky and won't leave crease lines. Also it gives good grip wet or dry conditions. It looks like real leather tape so will match any white leather look saddle really well also."

I had the Honey Brown for a retro look on my tourer,
it looks great. There are good articles on the web for fitting it if you need them."

"I have this tape in white and I haven't had to wash it in around six months, it still looks great!
I cycle with gloves so the feel of the tape is fine for me, I might recommend something a bit softer if you want a bit of padding, but if not then it's great all round."

good colour choices for the hipster on a budget

"not as comfortable as some other tapes (lots thinner/less padding) and i found it quite difficultt o install as it doesn't stretch like most other tapes (cork, gel and even leather are easier to work with in this respect). have had it on for about 12 months now and it's not skipping a beat though so very durable. good value too. i got the honey brown witch matches well with my charge spoon saddle."

"This tape has completed season two on my TT bike now.
I chose black to fit the overall colour scheme of my bike and had enough tape to cover drops and the handholds of my aero bars (it's a fairly make-do ancient set-up!)
It fitted nicely, holds well and is fine to grip. The lack of padding is no big deal when you're riding a TT and with gloves on anyway there's no fear of losing grip.
Next time i need bar tape I'm pretty sure I'll be back for more."

"This tape is thin but of good quality. Applying it is a bit more tricky than, say, cork tape as it is not so stretchy. The finished product though is good and provides plenty of grip.
