High5 Box Of 20 38g Energy Gel Sachets

EnergyGel is an ultra concentrated sports fuel for instant energy. Race proven in the World's toughest events; it delivers fast energy to endurance athletes. Easy to open, easy to swallow and easy to digest and the natural fruit flavours taste fantastic. Before formulating EnergyGel, High5 posed this simple question to hundreds of competitive athletes; tell us what you think of current gels. Their reply "too sweet, too sticky in the mouth and they contain too much water. A refreshing fruit juice taste would also be appreciated" After years of research with a team of dedicated athletes, EnergyGel was formulated with a unique blend of simple carbohydrates for instant energy and complex carbohydrates for sustained energy release. High5 EnergyGel a 4th generation gel, ultra concentrated, light to carry and easy to use. EnergyGel is not too sweet and not so thick that it sticks to your mouth when you're dry. EnergyGel contains all the electrolytes essential to maximise fluid and carbohydrate uptake and it comes in a range of refreshing natural fruit flavours. High5 Energy Gel is an ideal energy fuel for any athlete who is looking for a clean, natural source of energy, it is suitable for vegetarians and is GMO FREE. Whether you're a Footballer, Rugby Player, Swimmer, Triathlete, Cyclist, Mountain Biker, Runner, Tennis Player, Adventure Racer, Climber, Skier, In-Line Skater or a Member of the Armed Forces High5 Energy Gel is light, effective and easy to consume even in the hottest and coldest of conditions. With a High5 EnergyBelt or TrailBelt, you can easily carry enough gel to fuel hours of all-out effort. Critical to peak performance High5 Energy Gel contains the electrolytes sodium and potassium, which are essential to the process of metabolizing carbohydrates and for the proper functioning of muscles. Magnesium - The loss of magnesium through sweat can bring fatigue and muscle cramps because of the role the mineral plays in controlling muscle contraction and regulating the conversion of carbohydrates to energy. Sodium - Studies indicate that rehydration occurs at a faster rate when electrolytes such as sodium are consumed during exercise. Potassium - This mineral is the major electrolyte found in all of your body's cells. It plays an important role in the transmission of signals to nerve impulses, muscle cell contraction and overall maintenance of your cardiovascular system.

Tasty!
Pros: Great Value, good taste!
"Unlike some, these are not lumpy and actually taste nice!
They also do the job of giving you that extra boost really well. I was starting to feel fatigue, popped one of these and felt a lot better.
Don't get me wrong, you there not magic... you don't suddenly feel like you can compete in the tour de france, but they give you that little extra kick that you need on those long rides.

A gel for those that struggle to 'stomach' others
Pros: tasty, effective
Cons: less calories than other brands
"I must have tried ALL energy gel products by now and i have finally reached the end of my search.
Generally i am often put off by the bulk of the other gels and really struggle to swallow the gloopy 'wall paper paste' style gel they offer. If i can swallow it it is then usually the taste that stops me having another or makes it all come back out.
High5 Gels however have a more concentrated gel meaning you can usually take the whole thing in one go during and event and the consistency is very smooth and easy to swallow. You can't go wrong with the 'citrus' flavour as it is a subtle lemon flavour with a nice aftertaste.
This is now my choice of gel for events.
One thing is that they don't contain as many calories as some others but i would be prepared to have another than use some other brands!
Enjoy...."

Good digestible gel
"I find high 5 products easiest to digest and these gels are consistent with this
Give a good boost without associated nausea and stomach issues
Texture could be more appealing but can't say I ve found any gel which is that palatable"

Easy to use
Pros: Great Value
"I like these gels because they seem to contain a lot of liquid for their small size and are very easy for me to swallow, unlike some of the more concentrated products. They have a pleasant taste in whichever flavour you choose."

Best gel I have used.
Pros: Great Value, High Quality
"I have now used the High 5 gel in several endurance events with great success. The taste is great and the gel is very smooth compared to others. I usually have problems with the digestions of gels gels during runs, but no such problem with the High 5. The price is also very reasonable and much cheaper at Wiggle than if purchased in Australia."

Easy to Consume.
Pros: Great Value, easy to consume
"These seem to be more of a liquid than gel, which makes them easy to consume on the go. I'm extremely happy with the Wiggle price and have three different flavours for all moods."

Great energy
Pros: High Quality
"These are great - much better than the thick gel type. However, they are very sticky so don't drip it anywhere other than your mouth! Small gel canisters are a great idea rather than tearing these open on the bike."

The best, even for sensitive stomachs
Pros: Great Value, great taste (summer fruits)
"This is bar far the best energy sachet I have ever used and I have tried many! I have used them for marathon training and these have always served me well, I still to you the summer fruits/berry flavour and it does actually taste pretty good and doesn't make you gag (which a few brands do).
I have a sensitive stomach and is something I take medication for, so for those of you out there who can have stomach complaints whilst in training these sat very well on my stomach and I had no issues with them what so ever, I recommended them to my mum too who runs marathons regularly and she thinks they are fantastic,
The extra boost is very noticeable and I have run long distances and these works wonders when battling THE WALL!
Give them a try, and happy training everyone"

Citrus gel
Pros: High Quality, Versatile
"quite a good tasting gel, easy to open and use. Be careful to get it all in your mouth tho as it is very sticky if it gets onto youre fingers or even worse on gloves. Ive learned to tear off the tab and suck/ sqeeze with the opening all in my mouth."

Great energy booster
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Versatile
"These gels are easy to consume as they are light flowing unlike some very tacky gels. The tropical fruit tastes very pleasant and worked well for me. Used just one sachet for a recent 200km ride. Body felt fresh at the end of the ride so maybe it's worth having these things handy on endurance rides. They are more affordable than other known branded gels."

GREAT TASTING ENERGY BOOST
Pros: High Quality
"I've tried loads of energy gels and i find these bar far the best with regards to taste. They deliver a good energy boost. A friend recommend that i mix them with water on long rides, so on a recent 100 mile outing i mixed 12 sachets with an equal amount of water. They mix well and it is then far easier to consume on long rides which means that you don't run out of energy (always best to keep topped up rather than filling up when empty). I also didn't suffer any after effects from consuming so many gels in a relatively short period!"
