TA only make their chainrings from the best 7075 T6 heat treated aluminium sheet.

Best chainrings
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
"Inner 40 tooth chainring for campagnolo cranks are better than 39's . The 11 tooth rear cog and 39 tooth front chainring combo will not work as the chain will sag like a limp noodle . A 40 solves this problem as it takes up enough slack to accomodate the 11 tooth rear cog and with a 23 or 26 rear cog and a 52 or 53 outer ring the derailleur doesn't look like a wall street short seller out on a limb . Why Campagnolo has not figured this out is beyond me . And the best of all the TA chainring are equal if not better quality then campgnolo . No cons at all as 1 tooth difference on the front chainring is unnoticeable to me either with shifting performance or speed ."

"Cheaper than the campag ring and does offer the same quality of shifting.
this a great add up on my bike for the off season as i can do long rides and staying on that ring .and when needed the shifting to the larger chain ring, the transition is much smoother/ gentle on the legs. {both way}."
