Pros: Attractive, High Quality
"This is my second set of Pro II hubs. The first set are still going strong, so I got a second set for my other bike. Great hub! Easy to service, and the people at Hope always answer my questions. They really stand behind their product. If I get another bike, I will get a 3rd set."

Great quality with reasonable price
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"Before Hope Pro 2, I was using Novatec disc hub.
It;s cheap, and looks good.
However, I would like to have a hub more durable, so I chosed Hope pro 2.
Hope pro 2 doesn't let me down.
It's so strong to deal with all kind of road conditions, and its sound is unique and loud.

Great Value
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Rugged
"This isn't the cheapest or lightest hub on the market but it's well built, has great engagement and sounds wicked. Build this up with Stan's Crest rims and you have a seriously good wheel set for not much money!"

Hope 2, 28 hole QR rear hub
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Good Fit
"Seems very nice. Nice colour, good seals. Good sound, but grossly underestimated in the weight department.
You site claims 285 grams.
Actual weight is 310, as it says on the actual Hope website.

Pro II's are epic
"These hubs are superb. They look great, feel great, sound great, they even smell pretty good.
A superb upgrade for your machine, I have several sets of Pro II's and the ones that run smoothest are the oldest ones. Quality built to last."

One of the top bike bits
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"Hope have really shown what UK manufacturing can do.
Light, strong, good engagement, nice colour and great price.
It is also impervious to UK mud!
You always know when a pro2 hub goes past due to the distinctive click.
This not only sounds great, but lets you judge your speed for technical stuff.

Lovely piece of kit
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"Its got to be said this is a very nice, albeit expensive, hub. All the complaints about the freehub wearing are unfair, because Hope state on their box that it's best to use cassettes with alloy carriers, and frankly, if your paying this much for a hub, you can't use a 20 pound cassette. Also Hope didn't design the splines, we want the light weight which comes from an alloy carrier, even if the original Shimano design doesn't allow it.
The sound from the pawls isn't anything to worry about either, my Campag Record hub sounds very similar and you don't notice it while riding. All in all, partner with a good cassette and rim, and it makes a fantastic wheel.

More to Pro2's than the noise
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality
"Have a matching Pro2 on the front and if it was enough to say buy them I would. Although I know they are not neccessarily the best, the gap is small and the flexibily of service and adjustment is hard to beat. The pick up is good enough for most applications, aside from the most demanding 4 cross and trials work were a faster pick up of a hadley or chris king maybe in order if your wallet and service schedule can take the hit. Don't judge Pro2 as hopes ask anyone and I am confident you will find few who don't at least recognise them as a good choice."
