Bargain light set
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
"At Wiggle's sale price of £27.50 this is a real bargain. A high quality, ultra bright pair of lights with a wide viewing angle ensuring you are seen by cars emerging at side roads and roundabouts.
Full marks for the front light, the set is let down very slightly because the rear light is slightly dimmed if you use rechargeable batteries. Battery life with AA 2100mAH rechargeables in the front is incredible. Two charges will get you through a winter of 6 hours/week commuting. The rear on AAA 700mAH will need charging a little more often but the battery life is still reasonable.
Weather proofing is good too."

Bright and cheap
Pros: Adjustable, Good Fit, Great Value, very bright
"An excellent set of visibility lights. In terms of what they do these lights do it very well. You can see them from a mile away but I wouldn't use them to ride by. Great for a commuter though. Very easy to fit and nice big buttons make for easy operation, also like the fact that the lights do not turn off unless the button is held down (means you don't accidentally shut them off when trying to switch between flashing and constant beam).
As a comment, the battery compartment is somewhat hard to open on the front light. Also the clip to release the front light from the mount is a bit stiff.
A tip: in order to tighten up the rear light mount it is worth having some pliers to hand because you may not have a good enough grip and the ratchet is quite stiff."

Great Value Light Set
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Great Value, Lightweight
Cons: Poor Fit, poor quality rear mounting bracket
"Bought this light set a couple of months ago, and I was immediately impressed by the sheer brightness for the price paid. My only qualm would be the rear mounting bracket, which just isn't up to scratch. Across all the bikes I've used it on, the rear mounting bracket hasn't fitted securely once, always hanging on loosely, and being a genuine irritant. Otherwise, I would have no problems recommending this light to my friend, and in fact, I already have, though be weary if you plan on trying to use this light for trail riding at night, it is not quite bright enough to do anything at speed, although it does light up the trails competently enough."

Great idea, let down by poor functional design
Cons: Low Quality
"The single LED technology in the front light is great. For one LED it is amazingly bright. It is bright enough for cars to see you and to spot pot holes on a lit road. The only problem that I have with this is that it keeps turning itself on in my bag. The on/off button is easily pressed when my bag is put down. I've wasted so much battery already and it's not even winter yet! It's a really big negative in my book.
The rear light is plastic-ky and flimsy looking. The bracket for the rear light whilst not using any tools to adjust is a pain and flimsy too. The quality just isn't there!
I'm disappointed. I'd expected more from Cateye."

Pros: Great Value
"The rear light seems to have turned itself off a couple of times and I prefer a front beam that I can see by on constant, but the front makes a great strobe."

Adequate
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"Great set of lights that will help you be seen on the road, as for seeing your surroundings the front light is adequate but not as bright as i would have wanted but im thinking of getting a secondary front light specifically for this job. however the light set is great value for money i and am more than happy with my purchase"

"easy to adapt, strong light, not using the batteries as much as my earlier light set. The only thing i would like to see is the backlight that you can change between bikes but anyway its a good choice"

great light nice price
Pros: Great Value
"Great price for what is the ideal light for me. I'm only cycling round the town and this light is very visable to other road users which is its primary function. It provides some visibility of the road ahead."

powerful lights
"Great price for an excellent pair of lights. Only cribs being battery life on rear light but it is extremely bright and also the quick release on the front light is a little fiddly and not that well positioned. Knocked a star of for these minor criticisms."

bargain lights
Pros: Great Value
"the lights perform really well. I doubt you can get a brighter front light for anywhere near the price. the brackets work but don't provide the most secure fit ever - nothing that cant be sorted with a bit of rubber - old inner tube for example.
used these in unlit areas and felt safe and the road ahead was lit sufficiently to see where i was going and what road surface lay ahead.
would certainly reccommend this light set

Bargain!!
Pros: Adjustable, Good Fit, Great Value
Cons: Bulky, Unattractive
"Not the prettiest lights, but an absolute bargain at under £30 quid, great visibility, easily taken on and off, not had much trouble with them turning on in bags as mentioned by others."

reliable and bright.
Pros: Durable, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Bulky
"I have been using these on and off for a good while now. They have anaged to withstand the rain without any problem. Also no signs of corrosion inside the casing. only problem is that the front light always seems to move no matter how hard I tighten it onto the handlebar."
