Bargain!
Pros: Adjustable, Good Fit, Great Value
"I wanted a light set that was relatively inexpensive, yet good enough to allow me to cycle along a busy A road at night without being mown down by traffic.
The lights were easy to fit, even though I was daft enough to first put the fittings on the wrong way round. Duh. But that was my fault, not the lights! Once I had engaged my brain, the lights fitted to my bike without further incident. The fittings are designed so that the lights can be taken off and used on a different bike, or stored somewhere else easily.
There are several light settings for both front and back light, either flashing intermittantly, or on constantly. The front light isn't exactly Wembly Stadium luminescence, but it is sufficient for the purpose. If you want something that's going to light your way along a pitch black off-road track, you would be better off going for one of the more expensive models.
These lights are great for the lower end of the price range and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends."

Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Versatile
"I wasn't sure about these lights when i brought them, they looked tiny in comparison to my old cateye's which were bulb based.
But once i switched them on, the beam on these is amazing! Although i agree with the other reviewers, it's not designed as a headlight, it won't light up the floor clearly, although it tries quite well.
Overall for the price, i couldn't think of a better set of lights, its small and it does the job brilliantly, what more could you want?"

Excellent Lights
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, high visibility
"Having passed my 50th birthday I took up cycling to work earlier this year and was determined to carry on through the winter months.
Modern lights were small and light compared to the ones I'd last used. I chose these after seeing them on another bike and find them outstanding. They are highly visible and the read light has three programmed cycles. I feel absolutely confident of being seen. What's more they are light and easy to clip on and off at my journeys end.
The delivery and service from Wiggle was outstanding and I wholeheartedly recommend both Wiggle and Cateye lights"

So pleased I bought them
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"I love these lights! I can't believe how good they are in comparrison to my old ones. They're quite small so they don't take up too much space on the bike which is handy, but they're very powerful. The flashing settings are great as I think it makes you highly visible to drivers and off road, the constant light is good when it's dark. They're also very easy to adjust for the bike size, so that's good too. I'm chuffed to bits with them and when the time comes to replace them, I can't imagine that I'd buy anything other than Cat Eye lights. They're reasonably priced and I feel so much safer for having them on my bike. I genuinely feel like people can see me now."

Excellent Value
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"These lights are sleek but very powerful. No need for other complicated lights as these do all you ask of them. They come with versatile fixing which allow you clip the lights off with a click of button it you leave you bike in an undesirable area. Very pleased with my purchase."

Very good light set
Pros: Great Value, High Quality
"I originally bought this light set in September 2009 and this is my second set for my spare bike. Front light is extremely bright as far as being seen is concerned but it isn't much use for night rides without street lighting. However, I bought it for the former and it does the job perfectly well. Rear light is of a similar standard to the front and the battery life in both is also good. I would highly recommend.
Very impressed."

Pros: Adjustable
"These lights were easy to fit, and do the job. The front light won't light your path on a dark night - but will make you seen.
Both have a number of modes: on/flash/flash differently.
Look like they'll be sturdy enough to last a while.

great lights
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, Rugged, Versatile
"Good high-vis, easy to use and conveniennt lights - in particular the fittings make adjusting and re-postioning after bumps and potholes much easier than the old screw-on versions.
God move from Cateye - probaly the best brand out there for lights right now.

Cateye light set
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
"This is the second set I've bought as these were for my wifes bike.
Really easy to fit, easy to remove, very compact.
The front is just about bright enough to cycle carefully though a dark woodland road if I dont go too fast. If you do a lot of nighttime cycling in unlit country lanes go for something brighter but if you're more the urban type these are great.
Small enough to put in your pocket and neat enough to put on a nice looking bike."

Superb! Job DOne
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: fiddly release catch
"As a budding commuter cyclist I wanted a lightweight set of lights that didn't take up a load of room on the handlebars and look like I'd just nicked a headlight off a motorbike!
In the box I got the lights, all fittings (dead easy to use) and even batteries which was a nice surprise. Once powered, you can opt for constant light or flashing (flashing really helps the batteries live longer) but the rear lights you can have either on, flashing or some crazy 'Knightrider' side to side flashing.
The lights look really good on the bike and are really bright, I can be seen easily by all the motorists I annoy while cycling. If you are looking at doing some serious off road mountain biking then I would look at investing some more money and going for a specialised light set. don't get me wrong, these lights are great for road and commuting but anything that requires good light on dirt tracks and forest runs may need something with a bit more brightness. whatever you choose though, make sure you stick with Cateye, the build quality, performance and style are second to none!

Great but 3 significant flaws
Reviewer Images
User submitted photo
Pros: Adjustable, Good Fit, Great Value, Lightweight, Rugged, impact resistant
Cons: Wears Out Easily
"Lots of reviews about how good these are, and I basicly agree and have 3 sets.
However there are three significant flaws to be aware of:
1) The plastic sprung clip under the front light that holds it in place in the bracket breaks after about 2 years daily use. I've had one snap off completely, and resorted to epoxy to permanently fix it to the main bracket. Cateye changed the spring design about 2 years ago, but I have one of those with a crack that will fail before long.
2) While you can't accidentally turn the front light off (you have to hold the button at the back in for 2 seconds), you CAN accidentally turn them ON easily. - So what? When you get them out of your bag the batteries are flat... The back light however is a much sturdier on/off button so isn't affected.
3) The metal contacts for the battery aren't resilient, leading to the battery being loose. Even a momentary loss of current causes the light to switch off. E.g. a small bump in the road. - You can of course bend the contacts, but eventually they'll break."

OK
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Great Value, Lightweight
"V easy to fit and seems a well made product so far. The light itself is good for a simple LED and more than sufficient in urban areas with street lighting - not so good when you're out in the sticks though."
