"My partner has a bad back and this seat post takes the road shock out of any ride. The cost is high but thats due to the excellent quality and the abilty to rebuild or change the damper or spring.If you are looking for someting tho make your ride just a little more comfortable the this will doit for you."

A God send

"I am an ageing road racer, with some REALLY bad discs in my back. Doing big km's (for me - 400km a week) would really start to play up with my back, and I would always train with about 70 to 80 lb in my tyres to help take out the road shocks. Racing on rougher roads when I put the pressure up to 90lbs would really create havoc at times.

This seat post has solved all that. I can now train all I want, and race with more air in my tyres and I have no problems from the bike.

This post is also really light as far as suspension seat posts go. It weighs about 290 grams, which is only about 70 grams more than your average run of the mill post.

When setting up the height on the bike, I allowed for the initial compression of the post from my body weight, and then the movement from the road is only very minor, so I find I don't have issues with the post changing my leg height adjustment. Makes the ride very comfortable.

Only criticism is the fiddly clamp adjustment. It is very very light, but takes ages to get the thing setup just perfect, with the seat exactly where you want it and at the right angle"

'Saved My Spine'

"With a 53 year old spine and poorly maintained roads, cycling to and from work was becoming a painful experience. My aluminium-framed roadster transmitted every jolt! Enter the USE RX suspension seat post. British, very well made with quality materials, light, and highly effective in damping out all those road vibrations. Silent and no 'pedal-bob' either. Ordered the 'medium' sprung version (despite being 3kg over the ideal weight range) and found it perfect with no bottoming out. Riding became a pleasure again.
The saddle adjustment mechanism is novel and a tad fiddly but works fine. All internal items fully serviceable for longevity.
(XCR version would be great for all you XC hardtailers too!
Highly recommended..."
