Great range of flavours

"I have tried all the Torq Energy flavours by buying their smaller sampler packs and to be honest it is hard to pick a favourite as they all tase so good.
I use Torq Energy for running and in particular for longer runs or off road races where I carry it in a Camelbak. I like the taste, the fact you can make it up to different strengths depending on the weather conditions. I have never had any problems with it upsetting my stomach over the 2 years I have been using it.
Great product for a great UK company with a decent website."

Very satisfying
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, easy to mix, nice taste
"Difficult to get excited and passionate about a tub of powder but can say this:- Enjoyed the orange flavour and found mixing instuctions easy to follow. Having a scoop included made it even easier. The note on the lid telling me to hunt around in the tub for the scoop was really good. I could imagine myself getting very frustrated imagining the scoop was not there having been told it was included, when all along it was buried in the powder. Would have been even more frustrated to find it some time later as I gradually worked my way through the contents!
Does it work? Certainly found it thirst quenching and did feel it gave me that extra boost, especially when riding my MTB off road through very muddy and wet bridleways recently! Fell off in the mud, but still had energy to get up and keep going again!"

Pros: good flavour, good value, effective
"I've used Torq products for years now, and despite having a 'delicate digestion', I find Torq energy drink enables me to exercise without any side effects. I've used most of the flavours, but find the grapefruit more than acceptable.
Anyone doing long distance events knows that you don't want sweet/sticky flavours in your mouth through out the day. Torq answers that problem. If you want sweet - try the gels.
For long supported bike rides (eg IM) we mix a 5X stength bottle which we then mix a fifth at a time with water from the feeding stations. That way we don't risk using an energy drink that may not agree with us."

Go-go juice
"This stuff tastes great- I'm not a fan of sweet things and this is perfect for me, it almost has a slightly salty tang to it (like a sea breeze cocktail...) It mixes easily (some powders I've tried form big gloopy lumps the moment they hit the water). Performance wise it's great- it keeps the calorie intake up on day-long rides/ races and because it replaces electrolytes I find I don't cramp as much as I used to, and generally I feel better at the end of a day when I've been drinking this than just drinking water."

"I tried pink grapefruit based on the reviews... Was good but not much sweetness to it, bit sour for me. Functionally though, it was right up to scratch. Left me feeling well hydrated and relieved cramping and fatigue when I needed it."

Easy to drink

"I tried a whole range of energy drink products to see what worked for me and if I liked the taste. This product certainly provides the energy it says but I cannot honestly tell if it provides more or less energy than its competitors. On the other hand, its by far the best tasting product for me. I prefer the Lime Lemon drink, it has a refreshing flavour and is not too strong a taste. This is now my energy drink of choice."

"Having tried lots of energy drinks this is definitely my favourite, it tastes ok (orange flavour) and does the job with no side effects... The big tub lasts for ages as well. Used on all day rides and 10@Kirroughtree, Relentless etc."

"Very easy to make and very easy to drink, not sure if it helps physically, but it does in the head. I only use it for rides over 2 hours, I find that I feel ok after a long ride of 4hours or more so its worth the money"

"as sports drinks i have used brands like isostar or powerbar and liked them both - however when consumed regularly they are not cheap.
so i wanted to buy something cheaper; the question was: how to compare prices when torq do not offer the info of how many servings are in one container! thats a serious flaw and i had to calculate and finally fugured it would be a bit cheaper to buy torq instead of isostar.

now to the product itsself: dissolves in water not as instantly as powerbar or isostat, which is probably because of the containing maltodextrin. so if you want to stir it in a glass you have to be patient.

Great energy drink

"Having only used Lucozade or Vimto before this was my first foray in to 'proper energy drinks'. It certainly does the job. I use it when I'm training and competing for roller derby and it keeps my energy levels up. I don't get an upset stomach and also no sickly feeling from it. I definitely recommend!"
