Great choice for regular cyclist
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: irreplaceable
"Polar CS200 is one of the most recommended cycling computer by my team-mates. Fortunately, I have new choice, Polar CS200cad, bundled the cadence sensor without to buy one individually, for my bike ride workout.
Merit: comfort belt wearing and precise hear rate data and quite large digital number on the screen whenever your ride. Indeed, the speed and cadence data is no doubt precise at all (youtube video is attached).
Imperfect: the battery on the speed and cadence is not replaceable. it seems I have to buy new set unless I break the shell and restore by myself.
In short, CS200cad is the product designed in Finland, made in China. it's my must now for sure. Maybe higher serials like CS400 or CS600X is my next buying for my future advanced training."

やっぱりポラール
Pros: 良いバリュー, 快適さ, 多様性, 良いフィット感
Cons:

Pros: 高品質, 良いフィット感
Cons: 質の低さ
"買う前から知ってはいたがやはりスピードとケイデンスの表示が遅いです。この点はやはりおまけとして考えるしかないと思います。ハートレートに関しては安定しているので安心です。"

"Pleased with computer, relatively easy to use but the limited range of the speed sensor transmission to the computer (50cm) make it unsuitable for mounting on rear wheel for use on the turbo trainer. Pity they don't tell you this in the product information."

NOT suitable for trainers
Cons: not suitable for trainers
"Looks like a great product from a great brand at a good price, BUT... it can only be mounted on the front wheel, and therefore is not suitable for trainers (despite what one person said in the Q&A section!) It is a great brand with all the info I would need in a simple package, at a good price. Well done Wiggle for refunding the purchase price. Not so well done Polar for leaving out this important info to buyers. I plan to buy a Cateye V3 Triple Wireless Cycle Computer instead, which can only be mounted on the rear wheel."

PolarCS200cad
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
"Once again a great product and price provided by wiggle. Polar are the leader in heart rate technology and again have surpassed expectations with this unit. I would recommend this product to any cyclist as it provides all the detailed information you require whilst on the bike and thereafter tracking and monitoring your progress.
Wiggle as always provide quality goods at great prices."

Great for turbo training too.

A great aid to training
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Versatile
"I bought this HRM as an aid for training for my first 100 mile ride. Really glad I did as it adds interest to those long winter rides and allowed me to see the improvements accumulating. Easy to fit - I would recommend gluing the cadence magnet onto the crank once you have the positioning set, just use some 5 minute araldite.""

Great but...
Cons: software incompatibility
"... not compatible with a Mac!
Nobody mentioned this on any reviews and I think with the growing popularity of Macs is a massive flaw.
Other than that it does everything it says it does, it's very handy to monitor heart rate, speed and cadence.
Would just love to be able to download the data rather than manually entering it onto an excel document. As soon as I can I'll be buying a Garmin."

Goood purchase, vague installation instructions
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"the CS200 cad cycle computer is great and very easy to use while on the bike.
However, I own a specialized ariel comp disc bike and the installation instructions were not specific enough regarding the speed sensor.
MBT and hybrid bikes have a very big gap between fork and stays, so in order to have the 4mm gap between sensor and magnet, you need to turn the speed sensor inwards -almost vertically.
According to the installation instructions the sensor is supposed to be facing forward, so when I tried to mount it, the gap was almost 2 cm.
It took me very long to figure it out, and actually a friend tipped me on the fact that the sensor works even when you turn it inwards.
Polar needs to update the installation instructions."

Mixed
Cons: Wears Out Easily
"Good: easy to set up, neat fitting (although it's hard to get the cable ties tight enough and trimmed properly), has all the features you'd need on a clear easy to read display, and it seems pretty accurate.
Bad: Not waterproof - at least not for me - lost use of some of the buttons after being caught out in the rain on a ride. Also, both the cadence and speed sensors don't always pick up consistently - cadence sensor in particular is a bit hit and miss.
Overall: After about a year of use, I'm about to purchase a new model (probably not a CS200cad). It's good enough when it works, but it's not consistent enough. I missed what felt like my best ride up box hill yesterday when it failed on me, so I think it's time for me to move on!"

Worth the Research
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight
"Spent quite a bit of time considering this against other similar products such as the Garmin Edge 500 but eventually went for PolarCS200cad. I went for this based on price and the apparently better HRM functions.
It looks good and fits easily although I was bit concerned abot the fittings for the sensors they went on easily enough and worked first time. Only took about 20 mins to set it all up and get it going and I am not the technical type. Tested the distance function against a GPS over 25 miles and there was nothing in it.
No real issues with it yet so happy with the purchase.

It works!
Pros: Great Value
"My previous CS200cad was getting a little worn (after 4500km). The lugs on the bottom of the device to attach it to the bar had broken off so care is needed when doing this. Its not too ostentatious and does what its supposed to do. It was also a lot cheaper than when I bought the last!"

Very nice...
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"This is a very good cycle computer. Nice to have both Cadence and Heart rate in the same unit for a reasonable price. Most lower price models do not have both. Some improvments could be made to the user interface.
Transfer of data to web works nice. It would me nice to logg data points along the route to be able to plot graphs. This unit only collect totals, avarage etc. I would recomend this cycle computer.

"Cracking well made bit of kit from Polar as you would expect. 30mins to install and all worked fine.
No complaints at all.
