Hope Pro3 Mono Road Front Hub

The new Pro3 hub replaces the Mono hubs. With the proven range of Pro2s having gone from strength to strength since they were launched, the Pro3 is the development of that hub, and is specifically aimed at road and non disc users.

Great quality, light weight
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"Bought these as a less expensive alternative to Dura Ace hubs, which are my money no object gold standard hubs. The front hub weighs exactly the same as my Dura Ace 7900 series front hub, which is impressive. The quality seems very good, and they have built up into a very nice wheel (Mavic Open Pro, 32 double butted 3-cross). Time will tell how durable they are."

シマノ以外のハブを使いたい人にオススメ
Pros:

Fab blue front hub
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, and british!
"Beautifully engineered in England with the experience of 1000s of miles on MTBs, cross-country and downhill. I bought it like a shot! Builds a lovely wheel, paired with Pro3 Mono Rear also in blue. I suppose I'm being a tart but have colour coded Hope bits all over the bike, and Hope road hubs aren't that commonly seen. So many admiring glances :O) Smooth rolling. Replacement sealed Swiss bearings available cheaply. Why look elsewhere?"

Rides like a dream
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"This hub was pricey, but worth it. The difference in ride quality was immediately noticeable, and this baby just keeps rollin' and rollin' with the minimum of fuss. Looks good, too."

An excellent hub at a great price
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: none yet
"This is the first Hope hub that I've purchased and it wont be the last.
I was very pleased with the weight, quality and price of the hub and it was very easy to build up with a quality rim and spokes, as mentioned by a previous reviewer.
I would have preferred to have laced the wheel radially but in my research I read that this was not recommended.
Although I've only done about 125 km so far, the wheel feels extremely smooth and rolls effortlessly.
The hub is supplied without a skewer."

High standard road hubs
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"I love Hope hubs of all types. I use the mtb hubs both regular and ss and also these road hubs and I now have two pairs.
They roll really nice, are very light and the rear is loud and has rapid engagement. I ride plenty of km and the bearings are still full of life and so is the rear ratchet.
.Remember! You must use a dura ace cassette otherwise you'll gouge the freehub body. Hope perceive their products as high end so if you can't afford the corect cassette than move on and miss out.
An excellent performance hub for many happy years and km of use.

Under the radar winner
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged
"I'll agree with the previous reviewer....they are an oftern overlooked hub that is worth looking at. Sure, Hope is known for mountain bike hubs and brakes, but these prove that they can make a good Cx/touring/road hub too.
These aren't the lightest hubs out there, but they are on par with a lot of others. Fit and finish is first class and the hubs roll quite well, inspite of not being fully broken in yet. Colors are definitely nice in a world where silver, black or grey seem to be your only choices.
Like all Hope hubs, these are easy to service. They built up exceptionally easy into the Mavic rims I selected for my Cx bike.
If you're considering a King or other top-end front hub, these are a way better value. If you want an ultralight race wheel...these might not be the first option. If you're after a reasonable weight, bomb proof hub that will take whatever you can dish out, then you've come to the right place."

awesome hubs
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: no skewer :(
"I am a tart, what can I say. I bought this for 3 main reasons:
1. Colour;
2. Price;
3. Its UK engineered.
I wanted a very comfortable front wheel and when paired with a box section rim, this low flange hub gives an ideal ride comfort as the spoke length is maximised. The finish and anodising is great, just a shame it does not come with a skewer. Overall it sets off my bike build perfectly. When I do get a new road bike wheelset, I will build it around these hope hubs. Recommended!

Good Hubs
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"I've run a pair of Hope hubs built up with Mavic Rims and they have been faultless. Often overlooked by roadies but defiantly worth a look. Not the lightest but light enough for most people and durable.
I haven't gone through a winter yet but the first 4000K has been faultless."
