Will last decades
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, highly waterproof
Cons: Expensive
".. and I should know as I have had mine for at least 12 years.
It doesn't look like the design or features have changed much, if at all, in the intervening period. This is a good thing as it is difficult to improve on perfection. My bag has served me well for many years and has survived the usual bumps and scrapes - some of which have been quite spectacular - largely intact. It remains completely waterproof and still locks on to my rack as securely as when I bought it. I can only recall one occasion when it has come off my bike and I suspect that I hadn't fitted it correctly that morning.
It's expensive, but I think it's excellent value given its durability. I agree that the internal pockets are quite tight, but I find them ideal for securely holding my wallet, diary, mobile phone etc; I also store papers in the space between the inner framework/lining and the waterproof outer lining (not sure whether that's the intention, but it works very well); and I still have plenty of space in the middle to carry tools, inner tubes, my lunch, one or - at a push - two A4 files and all sorts of other things. I've never carried a laptop in it, but would be quite happy to do so - there's plenty of room and you can indeed get a protective sleeve.
The reflective pad at the rear is excellent and I have never had any problems with heel clearance. My only improvement to suggest would be some sort of secure mount for an LED rear light. I can't see that on this picture, but maybe Ortlieb have thought of that.
If you are a bit more assiduous about cleaning the bag than I am, it looks perfectly presentable in a business context too.
If you want to buy a waterproof, durable office bag that you can use on your commute for years to come, I doubt you could do any better than this."

Fit for purpose and practical
Pros: Adjustable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, waterproof
"The Office Bag has proven ideal for carrying my laptop and some basic needs on my daily commute to and from work. The forces of gale winds and very heavy rain did not penetrate the bag, all my gear arrives dry and safe. Mechanical aptitude is not my strength but the instructions were so clear and adjusting the Office Bag to fit my bike was absolutely simple. A great product that is sturdy, waterproof and lightweight."

Incredably durable
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"I was very sceptical about the sales patter that made me part with such a large sum of money for what appeared to be such a simple piece of kit. Well 12 years down the road and while it looks a bit battered it is still 100% waterproof, has carried often very demanding weights, mainly books but sometimes bottles - 10-12 kilos, and the easy to use clip mechanism is still as tightly attached to the bag as the day I bought it. Amazing integrity in the build quality."

厚みがあります。
Pros:

Great office pannier.
Pros: Durable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable
Cons: Not Enough Features
"What do I put in here?
A lunchbox.
A flask.
Small pump.
Puncture repair kit.
Water proofs (jacket and trousers)
Hard disc MP3 player.
Sunglasses.
Pens and assorted cabling.
Laptop.
So its plenty big enough for all of that, but only just. So glad I went for the larger of the two.
Waited for a decent downpour before reviewing. The design of the opening (rolldown), and good quality materials mean it is nice and waterproof.
Only downside is that there are no small outside pockets to quickly put items in/out of.
Well built and not damaged by the load ( as previous laptop panniers have )"

I'll never go back to a rucksack ever, ever again!
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Versatile, Good Fit, quick drying
"I bought one of these after good experiences with the handlebar bag.
The quality is good, after 5000 miles (12 months) of commuting the bag hasn't failed and is still is excellent condition.
It looks more like a bag and is easier to carry (with the shoulder strap) than a normal pannier.
The other thing I like compared with a pannier is the "stiffened" sides mean the bag retains its shape and doesn't crease your clothes as much.
Swapping the left side, right side part of it could be easier and also the ability to remove the insert would be nice, but I'm not going to pick holes in it; just buy one.

Excellent German Engineering.
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Versatile
Cons: Expensive
"I wanted the bag to sit on the right and out of box it was set up to work on the left. The instructions are completely cartoon style visuals to avoid language issues and so can take some working out but it was a simple job. The bag is stylish and so far completely waterproof. I needed a bag that I could walk into an office environment without looking out of place and this one fits the bill. There is a velcro fixed dividing plate covered in useful pockets so I wedge my laptop behind this plate holding it snug.
The top fixings to the rack are clever as you pull the carrying handles and they open up the fixings freeing the bag. The bottom fixing is an adjustable 'leg' that you arrange so that it hooks behind the frame of your rack. Lots of cleverly designed plastic moldings that appear to be strong. Although in the top end price group this bag is perfect for smart business applications. The black/grey colour scheme is business-like and also good at hiding dirt splashes!

So versatile & convenient
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Versatile
Cons: Bulky
"The bag comes set up to mount on the left hand side of the bike. Given we here in Australia ride on the left hand side of the road (and my stand leans the bike to the left) I swapped it over to the right hand side. The instructions to do so were poor, and it was a bit fiddly, but with a couple of screwdrivers it worked out OK.
The bag itself is sensational. It has plenty of pockets for things, fits well on my Topeak SuperTourist rack and the fact that it retains its shape means that I can put stuff into it without the bag collapsing, unlike my previous panniers. Oh, and the top fastening is simplicity itself to use.
It fits my laptop (& lots more stuff) easily. The downside is that I'm tempted to carry more stuff on my commute.
Highly recommended."

Excellent
Pros: High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Limited Color Choices, bit uncomfortable to carry
"I was after a decent sized commuting pannier that would convert to something carry-able afterwards, and this certainly fits the bill. This Ortlieb bag has the largest capacity of its product kind (note that Ortlieb also offers a very similar-looking smaller version). In it I can fit a full lever arch file, a few other thin A4 folders, some stationery, bike tools, and a bottle of water. Its construction appears rugged and, although its water-proofness has not yet been tested - Ortlieb are experienced in this field.
In terms of carrying it, there is either a briefcase-style handle, or a shoulder strap. Carrying it by the shoulder strap is a bit uncomfortable as the rack fixtures dig into your leg. You can turn it the other way around, which is more comfortable, but looks a bit odd.
When cycling, the instructions state to disconnect the shoulder strap. I have found that it can be safely be left connected, as long as it is looped through the handles, and the should pad pushed under one of the pinch clip attachments at the side. This is a lot less hassle than disconnecting and reconnecting all of the time.
A bit on the expensive side, but overall a good purchase."

Perfect Commuter Bag
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"My requirements were for a bag for commuting that was waterproof. This is the only pannier bag I have ever owned, so I have no personal comparisons to make.
I live in Australia so the climate is hot and I was tired of the sweat created from using a backpack.
The bag quality is excellent, cleverly designed, nicely made and functional. It holds my clothes, lunch, and assorted goodies used on a workday, and there is space for my laptop if needed.
The bag looks smart, and so far holds its shape, it easily clips onto my Topeak pannier rack, and has adjustments that allow it to be moved towards the rear sufficiently that my heels don't clash with the bag.
There were additional collars included to make a snug fit for the rack rail diameter, so it didn't rattle.
The bag (mine is Graphite colour) looks dressed up enough to use as a carry bag, instead of looking like a backpack or duffle bag.
It is a perfect solution for my requirements, and I have no hesitation in recommending it."

Very Very Good
Pros: High Quality, Rugged, Good Fit
Cons: instructions not great
"Just received, so can't comment on the durability, but I have other Ortlieb products that are fine after more than 20 years.
The thing that I'd add to the other reviews is that it is big enough to take my usual laptop bag, so that I don't have to decant everything, while still leaving room for shoes and clothes."

Not pretty, but effective
Pros: Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: Expensive, Unattractive, Not Enough Features
"I have had these panniers for a couple of weeks now. On the up side, they are big and have square corners. This means that they each easily fit 2 think A4 ring binders for work, and then some room left over. It also means that they stand up on their own when detached (rather than lying on the floor at home waiting to trip someone up). Notwithstanding their size, the heels at the back of my size 10 feet - clipped in - do not hit the bags when spinning.
On the down side, there are no external pockets for quick access to keys, phone etc. But at least you can use one of the closing catches to hold your (coiled cable) bike lock. And the reinforced edges on the bottom corners rattle against the bike's rear stays over bumps.
I have not ridden with them in the rain yet - this tends to happen a lot in Sydney, sorry - but they look like they would be reasonably water resistant."

"I wanted some commuting panniers, and did a lot of research before buying these. They clip on & off easily, and are smart enough to carry straight into a business meeeting. They are extremely well thought out, rhobust, great range of pockets and compartments inside, and (hard lined, cushioned) space for A4 files & a laptop. The material is tough & waterproof, and the lining hard & protective.
The only downside is the price, but you really do get what you pay for, and this bag will clearly last for years (if you read other reviews), and in my opinion is worth the initial outlay.

Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"I've been using this panier to carry my laptop from home to work and back again for nearly two years and it has been faultless through sun rain and heavy snow. Laptop still dry and working.
I particularly like the QL2 attachment system which has outperformed two other bags I've had to carry other stuff and ditched since I've used this one."

Top class piece of kit
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Expensive
"This is a great pannier. I previously had the Vaude 25 Rucksack pannier but it's fittings were dreadful and caused me to get stuck a few times with straps caught in my gears. I threw it in the bin after 3 weeks and bought this bag instead.
This is a quality piece of kit. Waterproof, attractive and versatile.
So far I've used for carrying my laptop to and from the office and I've also used it for my gym kit - all of which fits in a treat.
This is a world apart from the Vaude bag so I can't really complain that it's a bit expensive."
