Life systems? Life saver!
"If you like to enjoy our British summers in the wilder corners of our islands, but find yourself on the dinner menu of a million midgies, then take a look at this hat. The mesh net is fine enough to keep the wee beasties out, the wide brim keeps the net off your face and the whole thing packs up into a neat, lightweight package. Does the job!"

"At last, my wife and I can spend time outside gardening without worrying about the midges.
These hats are great - lightweight and well fitting.
The only difficulty is putting them back in their cases - although everyone seems able to do that except for me, including my 8 year old daughter.
Buy these for doing exactly what they say - I am very pleased with these hats and definitely recommend them."

Ideal for the job

"The hat prevented the majority of midge invasions! But the wire had a tendancy to bend out of shape once removed, and was a bit of a challenge to get it back into the packet one opened for the first time! Definatlely a recommend purchase!"

"Dont believe that the Scottish midge is the most bloodthirsty, Welsh ones are just as problematic! We live in the mountains of Snowdonia and have tried all manner of lotions and potions. Last year we wore netting over our heads which was effective but quite unpleasant and hot. The Lifesystems hats are very light and breathable and keep the netting well away from your face. They pack up into their own small case which could be attached to a belt or rucksac. Its a very well made quality product at at exceptionally low price - get one!"

"No more bites! This hat is comfortable to wear, lightweight & compact to store and most importantly offers effective protection against facial and neck bites from midges and mosquitos. The fine mesh, although black in colour, is easy to see through. An excellent product."

"I got this for a camping trip to the Scottish highlands and I'm very impressed with the product. It's lightweight and packs small so was handy to take in a back pack .
Even though the midge count was relatively low we still encountered a few of the little so and so's. Wearing this kept them off me and feeling chilled while my friends were either balacava'd up or half eaten!
The only problem is having a beer with one on. I didn't fancy drinking through the mesh so had to keep lifting it up or holding my beer underneath."

"This hat works really well. I haven't been bitten whilst wearing it. You can either have the draw-string tight or loose. When it's loose you can tuck it under the collar of your top so that there is no little gap for the mosquitoes to get you. I was worried I wouldn't be able to see out very well, but it doesn't make any difference to not wearing it, in some ways it's better because the brim protects your eyes from the sun."

"As a person with a skin that attracts midges and other small biting insects, I very much appreciate the Mosquito Head Net Hat. The only drawback I can think of is that one cannot eat while wearing it !!! But that is a small unimportant detail. The wide brim is very important because it keeps the netting away from the face, so one does not feel confined."
