Great grip
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, very grippy
"In wet slippy conditions you can rely on this tyre to stick to even the slickest looking rocks. I use them in the winter and have been very happy with their performance."

Cons: Limited Color Choices
"i run this on the front with a Kenda Blue Groove on the back.
This setup is as sure footed as a mountain goat on all the terrain they have encountered, i won't be changing any time soon."

Great choice of tyre for my all mountain bike
Pros: Great Value, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit, doesn't last that long, hangs on great in wet muddy slippery stuff, easy to pedal
"I ride an all mountain bike in some crazy wet muddy
rutty down hills a lot where you need loads of grip, along with plenty of x c trails.
With 2.1 Nevegal on the back and 2.35 up front it's
a great combination for me. Most of my riding
mates have the same and keep buying them
so that says it all I think. When in good condition
they are virtually puncture free. Go out and buy
them .

Great front tyre
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: rubber had poor shelf life before it 'cracked up'
"i bought a super tacky folding version in 2.1 width. never had a doubt with grip from this tyre, did well over 400 miles on it and still had the small grooves in the center tread visible so no problem with durability on the FRONT. only reason i changed it out was because where the tread area meets the sidewall, the rubber started cracking up pretty badly so i had doubts about the tyres reliability as didn't like the idea of it letting go in the middle of knowhere! thats the only reason iv marked it down on quality and value. can't fault it other than that"

Grippy tyres but they wear out too quickly....
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Versatile, very grippy
Cons: Wears Out Easily
"Riding on a weekly basis in the Austrian alps really helps me put this rubber to the test in all weather.
The tyres are fantastic and I'm already on my third set, and this is why I can't offer them the full 5 stars. They simply wear out too quickly. One and a half full seasons and three sets of tyres simply isn't good enough.
Putting this aside, the tyres are able to shed mud quickly and offer great traction on loose terrain. They also work brilliantly in snow and cold wet conditions which is ideal for the end of season rides at 2000m.
Having said all that, I'm going to perhaps try the Nobby Nics and compare them against those. A MTB buddy has them and he's still going strong on one set after two seasons. They seem to be indestructible but cost about 3 times as much, so perhaps the Kenda's offer better value.
Either way, a top bit of rubber."

Better than a Nobby Nic EVO and half the price
Pros: Great Value, High Quality
"Have used these on Mavic Crossrides wheels, tubeless with a Stan's No Tubes kit. First time I'd fitted tubless myself and they went on a dream. Better grip and thicker sidewall than the sketchy Nobby Nic Evo's they replaced. The Nevagal is on the rear, the blue groove on the front. The blue groove needed the rim tape building up with a couple of layers of electrical tape before it inflated, otherwise again, no problems."

Great for sticky situations
Pros: Durable, Rugged
"Replaced my front Schwalbe Racing Ralph with a Kenda Tomac Nevegal 2.1 when the snow arrived and my local trails got very slippery. Coped with the softest of ground and icy tree roots with no problems. The sticky rubber is hard work on tarmac and very noisy but worth it when you get off road."

Pros: Great Value, Lightweight, grip grip grip
Cons: Wears Out Easily
"Great grip, also on humid or wet weather.
It wears out very fast on the rear wheel, but it's great and quite durable on the front one.
I use a DTC on the rear and a Stick-E on the front.

Tyres for Winter
Pros: Good Fit, High Quality, good grip in snow
"Great tyres for winter including snow. Offering lots of grip on the soft snow, and still good grip on compacted/icy snow. Obviously grip on ice is extremely limited but they broke away predictably and enough chance to get feet down.
Good confidence inspiring tyres and looking forward to better (less icy) winter weather."

Pros: Durable, Great Value, Lightweight, Rugged
"These were the tyres fitted to my bike when bought new, so after many miles, when the originals were in need replacing, apart from going for the slightly lighter folding version, I had no desire to start experimenting with anything different. Used for mainly cross country riding, these tyres do well on, loose, firm, wet and muddy conditions. They also roll well on the road and are reasonably puncture resistant."

What a grip!
Pros: Good Fit, Great Value
"Last year I bought the Hutchinson Pythons Air light, my new bike came with Continental Race King tyres but I still was missing something on the front wheel: traction and grip! And wow, especially this version 2.1 which has the Stick-E kind of rubber it literally "sticks" on your upcoming curves! I first thought that this tyre would sacrifice my speed as I had with my previous "race tyres", but I can't complain at all! I like security over speed in a lot of situations. And as I don't compete why not?
And thumbs up for Wiggle where these tyres almost cost half of what I pay here in Spain!"

Excellent all rounder
Pros: Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
"I've been running these all year round and they offer great grip in all types of conditions. The bead is easy to fit over the rim without levers unless you are running DT Swiss rims which seem to be about 3mm bigger than their stated size, Kenda widths are on the larger size eg a Kenda 2.1 is the same width as a Maxxis 2.4. Top performer for the money."
