Deuter Nordic Lite Waist Bag
So light you won't even know you're carrying it!
This makes it perfectly suited to many types of sport. Special angled bottle holder means your drink bottle is quick to hand. The pack is insulated and has two side pockets for change, cell phone, pedometer and road pads.

Better than expected

"I bought this for the wife for use on walks of two to three hours duration, to avoid me carrying, or having drinks weighing down a pocket,
Having used it on my bike and found it extremely comfortable to wear, I won't complain if she insists that I wear it on walks as well, as this bag is so light that you really don’t know it’s there.
It swallows a 700ml bike bottle with room to spare and with the retaining loop, you won’t loose it.
The side pockets are big enough for MP3, mobile, keys and cash.
As a bonus it has a high quality belt and buckle.
Highly recommended."

"great product fits securley around the waist. holds a god size bottle of water . pockets at the side fit mobile phone money just in case. bright middle colour lights up at night by passing traffic if iam cycling or just out for a walk. tough material and water resistant. so good my good friend , i had to order a second one for her.recomend it to anyone great product good price........"

"One of the best holders I've used... a nice snug fit & not a lot or bouncing around if you fit it correctly. I use it with my Camelbak Performance (650ml) bottle & also with just normal hydration drinks.
The pockets are big enough for an MP3 player, keys (inner strap for that, to keep secure), 1-3 gels or a bar.
Would have been nice if it had loops on the belt in order to attach your gels for easier access rather than stopping & unzipping.
I use it if it's hot (not so much the case this year) or on longer runs just to keep hydrated. I'll also soon be using it on a trail run, I don't mind having a water bottle strapped to me while doing these runs."

"Only used once so far as been suffering with the dreaded swine flu!
All the previous reviews said that you need to be careful with the fitting and make sure its nice and tight - all true. Only used once to climatise myself to the product. Will be using in preparation for a half marathon in September and after first mile didn't really notice I was wearing it. Held a phone, water, keys, emergency money and a small snack and tissues - no problem!"

"The Deuter Nordic Waist bag has a number of uses. It allows you to carry more drinks when cycling or walking. The bottle section is nicely padded, and has a securing elasticated cord to hold the bottle in place. I found the bag will hold a 750ml cycle bottle perfectly.
The two zipped pockets are ideal for food, keys etc. (one pocket comes with a short strap inside to secure the key-ring) The back of the bag has a mesh system that stops you sweating where the bag touches you. This works very well, however when working hard, you will still sweat behind the adjustable strap.
Overall when carrying a full water bottle, I do notice the extra weight, however it is not too distracting. For the price it is very good value for money. A great buy!"

"This waist bag is very well made and the materials are of good qualty. The bottle compartment is broad enough to take different sizes of bottles and the two side pockets adequate for keys, tissue etc.
Although probably best suited for walking and cycling, I use this bag when out running (well Ok, it's a slow jog really!) and I am very pleased with it."

"My first bottle carrier.Very pleased.Light,comfy,two pockets and vented belt.Only problem I had was that the webbing part of the belt,rubbed on my running top and damaged it.I just wear an older top with it now.Still very pleased with it."

"This bag is well made, all the seams are finished neatly, all the zips work smoothly. There is a small bungee cord to ensure that most bottles can be kept from bouncing around in the bag, I have used small Lucozade sport bottles with no problems. The zip pockets are big enough to hold house/car keys, a fairly large mobile phone (e.g. Blackberry Bold) and an energy gel. Fit on the bag is good, once adjusted correctly it is comfortable, and the bottle is easy to reach and/or put back.
On the downside, the strap is slightly narrower than I would like, but not enough to create any discomfort. Unless you position it just right, it will bounce around behind your quite a bit, I think a wider strap might stop this
In short, a quality product which does the job well."
