A sound handlebar bag.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
"In regular use on my touring cycle, this bag has been very useful for carrying spare inner tube, some tools, wallet, map, camera & more. Minor criticisms are that the main internal storage area does not have any pockets/dividers, the thin plastic map holder that you can fix to the top of the bag is hard to make use of. It also took me a while to master the fitting of the essential handlebar mount supplied with the bag, but overall, I like it a lot."

A Worthwhile Purchase
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: affects light fitting
"This was easy to fit and to take off the bike. I have been using the bag for a couple of years now and I have no issue's with the bag. The velcro sticker securing the lid of the bag works for me. It certainly keeps the rain out, and living in the West of Ireland it has been tried and tested. I have not used the map case, so I cannot comment on it. I use the shoulder strap on a regular basis and like the thickness of the strap as it stays on my shoulder. The only thing I would like to highlight is the height of the actual case once sitting on the handle bars - depending on setting of your light on the handlebar it can block the light shinning on the road. I have got around this by using an extending arm fixture that raises the light above the actual bag."

Altura Dryline
Pros: High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Bought this bag specifically for my Olympus E-520 digital SLR and 70-300mm lens, with a piece of foam in the bottom of the bag, the camera with lens attached fits nicely and is easily accessible."

useful bag
Pros: Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: can'y use convetional front light mount
"a well made bag with plenty of uses. easy to fit and to take off and put on the bracket. only problems is that you cant use convetional front light handle bar mount as the bag obscures the light"

Adequate rather than excellent
Pros: Good Fit, good size for a handlebar bag
Cons: Poor Quality, Wears Out Easily
"The bag is an excellent size and can be mounted to the handlebars without too much drama. However, brake cable interfere with installing the bag considerably.
The top is secured by velcro, which is not good enough. It should have a more secure form of attachment.
The map case is all but useless.
The bracket on my bag fell apart within two tours, which forced me to use a bungee to secure the bag to the bike and keep it closed. This is unacceptable."

Good value
"This is a well made bag which works great. It is well sealed to prevent rain getting in easily although it would be better if the map case was attached with some velcro on the rear to prevent it from falling forward every time the lid is lifted.
The map case is a high quality very soft plastic which works well."

Map case
Pros: Lightweight, Rugged
Cons: map case is poor
"Disappointed in the map case part as riding across USA the glue melted and the case became a sticky mess- still is. Also it flaps about while riding and had to use a bungy strap to keep it in place."

Altura Dryline Bar Bag
"Great purchase. I also purchased the wider bar fittings as my handlebars are not standard size.
Great bag that fits all I need in it for when I go out delivering Bikeability Cycle training.
Easy to mount and easy to unclip when I want to take it off my bike, also includes a handy shoulder strap (yet to use).
Overall, very pleased with my purchase

"Good value for money waterproof bag. Good clear map case which is detachable. Front pocket useful for small items that do not need to be kept in the waterproof section."
