Front Pannier
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality
"This is the second time I have purchased an Altura pannier and this is as good as the first one. I use them on the front and they are just the right size - not too big, not too small. They are easy to carry by hand over short distances and the locking system is very simple and easy to operate."

Great value
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Lightweight
Cons: Not Enough Features
"Just purchased the Altura Arran 16 pannier bag 3 weeks ago after months of commuting to work using a backpack to carry clothes, shower gel etc. It has made a huge difference to me in that I don't have all that weight on my back & the air flow keeps me cooler. My commute is 12km each way & the bag is just the right size for personal gear. If it could be improved, then 2 compartments within the main bag would be useful. I've got used to packing the bag making sure those items I need first are on top. So far no water has penetrated the fabric, but its early days. Could I also suggest better reflective stripes on the bag especially for those winter evenings."

Good Pannier
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I wasn't sure whether to go for this pannier or a more expensive Ortlieb. I have used it on one 30 mile journey (at times with heavy rain) and it was fine. I had no water ingress and it is a sensible size. Large enough to carry spare trainers and change of clothes etc but not too bulky to get in the way. I'm sure there are better panniers out there but for the money it is absolutely fine for my purposes i.e. occasional 25/30 mile ride and daily commute. I would only consider more expensive options if embarking on serious touring."

Just Ideal
Pros: Durable, Rugged, High Quality, Good Fit
"I needed something to carry a few essentials on longer rides (jacket, food etc) and be able to cope with picking up shopping on the way home occasionally. This is an ideal size. Easy to fit and well made. Much better than cramming stuff in to a saddle bag and my jersey."

Pros: Great Value, Lightweight
"I use this on my daily commute. It's easily big enough to carry a change of clothes and my work shoes, and light enough that I don't notice I'm carrying it!
Given that it's not waterproof it keeps out a fair amount of water."

pannier
Pros: Great Value, Adjustable, Lightweight
"good quality, low budget panniers. I only use one of the pair as this is quite spacious. Clips are adjustable and make the bag easy to clip on and off quickly."

Great Pannier
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Very impressed with this Pannier. Fits really securely to my Topeak Super Tourist Disk Rack. Got this mainly to replace my Ruksack on the daily commute, it has plenty of room for my laptop, change of clothes, shower gel etc. Pocket on the top is nice and large and is very handy for keys, phone, wallet, puncture repair kit etc. Material is very robust and fastenings are very secure. Not tested the water resistence yet, but other reviews suggest it shouldn't be a problem.
I'm a big fan of Altura kit and this hasn't disappointed."

Does what is says on the tin
Pros: Adjustable, Great Value, Lightweight, Versatile
"I needed a pannier that could carry all my gear on my commute to work. I didn't want anything too bulky but it had to be big enough and sturdy enough to carry a complete change of clothing, towel and other odds and sods. My friend recommended this one as he had bought cheaper panniers in the past which were, in his words, rubbish.
This pannier meets my needs. It has a deceptively large amouth of storage. The zipped pouch on the top is extremely useful for those bits you need most (keys, lock etc.). It is strong and sturdy.
I've only rated quality a 4 as I expect a lot from Altura products, but thats not to say it is a poor quality, far from it. It is strong, robust and has good securing clips.
I'd thoroughly recommend it for cycling commuters like myself."

Altura Arran16 Universal Pannier
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
"I already owned one of these panniers bought several years ago, and wanted to get an extra one. They are great. Big enough for folders/laptop/for my weekly shop. They don't look as uncool as some panniers and have a useful zipped pocket in the top.
However they are not really waterproof and lack a strap to help you carry it more easily when off your bike. The price has also increased since I bought my first one about 2 years ago.

"It is spacious, more than it looks. It does not look too strong but it has been behaving well for now. I have only had it for a month or so; I however use it for daily commuting. For the price, I would recommend it … for now …"

The perfect pannier!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"This pannier is unbelievable in terms of value, quality and storage space. It's ideal for a day out or even an overnighter - it's tardis-like in its storage capabilities. I took it as my day pack for my three day cycle from London to Paris - it was easy to clip in and off and a life saver when I was in need of three spare inner tubes at once (for my team mates) or just an extra sachet of energy drink stowed in the top pocket.
Highly recommended - you won't find better value!"

Excellent Value
Pros: Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, Lightweight
Cons: overarm strap not included
"Can't beat value for money. Strong, sturdy, keeps my things safe from the rain. Useful zip pocket on top for quick/easy access to my wallet & phone. Also a narrow fit so my feet don't knock the bag when I cycle.
Only downside, I thought it came with an 'over the arm strap' but it didn't. However there are loops on the back to attach one to, I just need to pinch a strap from another bag of mine at home!

Easy to fit, good space
Pros: Good Fit, Great Value, Lightweight
Cons: Not Enough Features
"I bought this for my commute to work as I was fed up with carrying things on my bike. It's got a simple design but is simple to fit to a rack. I can carry a towel, trousers shirt and underwear in the main compartment, and use the useful top zipped compartment to carry deodorant and shower gel. It's one of the smaller pannier bags out there, but has been a revelation to me. Recommended."
