Dead pleased
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"I got this because I have a Cateye on my other bike which works really well so thought I'd stick with the brand; and I'm dead chuffed I did. It's a cracking little computer. Gives me all the info I need, speed, av speed, distance 1 (for each trip) and distance 2 (for your weekly/monthly) and total distance, time of day and a stop watch.
It is tiny which for me is a good thing as I have a cross bike so not much room on my bars coz of the crosstop brakes. Maybe not so good if you have poor eyesight!
Scrolling through the functions is easy as it has a microswitch on the back so all you have to do is press the bottom of the unit and it'llmove through the info.
In order to get an accurate measurement of speed/distance you should get your tape measure out and measure your wheel exactly as the sizes that Cateye give you in the instructions are way out, but that's not a big deal.
If you want a small, neat computer, with the basic functions then get this."

Great computer. Only one problem.
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
"Love this computer. Purchased it to replaced my old Cateye Astrale 8.
Main criteria was to get rid of the wires and give the bike a cleaner uncluttered look. Mission Accomplished. Clicktec operation is great, no fumbling for button with gloved hands and the tool free mounting is equally good.
Unit is small but numbers are still a good size. Unit has been great except the other night I discovered it will not work with my Lupine Tesla Led Light.
Even when the Light was helmet mounted, it still stopped the Cateye. My old Dinotte Ultra 5 light however caused no problems.
Overall still a great computer.

Quality item
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"I considered this purchase a lot before committing to the Strada. I have Flightdeck STI's and I was leaning towards the Shimano brand to keep everything on my bike the same make etc. Lets say I'm glad I didn't in the end. The Strada looks great on the bike. I bought the white model and I have it fixed on a black stem on a white bike. I might be considered vain but colour co-ordination makes all the difference!!! Apart from looking great what you really want is a computer that works well. The Strada certainly does that. It has a nice big display that you can see easily when riding. The functions on it are really useful (speed, average speed, max speed, odometer, time, distance). I opted for the model without the cadence sensor simply because my bursting lungs usually tell me how hard I am pedalling! The magnet sensor fits on the front wheel and you hardly notice it. The unit itself fits securely on the fork and it hasn't budged once since I fixed it in place. My choice was re-inforced recently when I read an article about Jai Crawford doing his pre-season training on a De Rosa King 3 RS with a Cateye Strada attached. He's a far better rider than me and if its good enough for him..."

Pros: Attractive, Lightweight
"When making my foray into track cycling last year, I was still a bit of a numbers addict. While most trackies seem to keep clear of cycle computers, I couldn’t resist, so opted for the Strada Wireless on account of it being so small and theoretically discrete. Setting it up was every bit as simple as a technophobe could hope and it has provided me with reliable basic training data for about eight months without a battery change as yet. The wireless facility works well and the ease with which the computer mount can be removed and re-attached to stems is great when swapping bars over. In fact this ease has led to one of the few frustrations; if the sensor were as easy to switch from bike to bike, it would make the product as a whole more versatile. The white colour looks great, didn’t discolour in the sun over the summer months on an outdoor track, and fits well with the colour scheme of my bike, but perhaps I should have thought a little more carefully about my colour choice if subtlety was really my aim. The only slight downside to such a small, lightweight and generally unobtrusive computer is size of the digits. Cateye have sensibly opted to only show two pieces of data on screen at a time (Current speed and one of the other eight functions), but I find the secondary data difficult to read at a glance due to its’ size. Overall, a great product which fit the bill perfectly for my new bike."

Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"I have bought two of these beauties to share amongst both road and off-road bikes and have found them to work in all weather and conditions. The lack of surface mounted buttons means that they are not fiddly and can be operated with gloved hands and do not suffer the same fate as other waterlogged computers that I have used in the past.
The display is clear and easily read whilst riding (even for older riders such as me who normally use reading glasses).
In fact they are so good that I have just fitted out two of my friends with the Strada Wireless and set-up fitted both of them in under 10 minutes each. It just doesn't get better than that!
The only reservation is the lack of a backlight, but that has been solved by wearing a small LED lead light on my helmet so now Robert's your Fathers Brother!

Smaller in size but still has a big display.
Pros: Attractive, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
"I was always going to buy a Cateye computer, I like their quality , it was just a matter of which wireless.
Was going to buy the Micro but saw the Strada for a few extra bucks and I'm glad I went this way. The head unit is heaps slimmer, more modern looking and sits perfect on my road stem. The transmitter is smaller as well and best of all it fits on the back of my bladed forks. Other transmitters may need to sit on a rounded surface due to their size, so I have seen alot of them fitted to the front of bladed forks but not this guy.
In the end I lost a second average speed and second time measure but I get a better looking unit. Just my opinion, the micro looks like the Cateyes from 10 years ago, the Strada is worth the extra few dollars."

Strada Double - Brilliant
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"Easy to set up and very clear screen. After initial setup is one touch operation. The joint cadense/speed sensor is fantastic. Little fiddly at first, but you get the hang of it.
Would certainly buy again. Had Polar CS200 before but too expensive for spares, this is great, just replace the battery."

Does it's job but fell off
Pros: Great Value
Cons: Poor Fit
"Was great while I had it. One day it fell off because I didn't clip it into the holder properly.
The second time I didn't clip it in properly it got run over by a car.
Work needs to be done on the holder to make it easier to clip the computer in securely."

Great, but not ideal for thrill seekers
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
"Had this unit now for more than a year. Thought it was a good time give a review.
Very happy, easy to scroll through the menu items, switching mechanism is precise and has a good feel, the display is clear, and for me, large enough to read even though I normally wear glasses. Although my commute is over variable terrain, I have not had to adjust the sensor on the front forks. About to replace the battery for the first time. Good stuff.
However, for those of you wanting to get into 3 figures downhill, alas, 99.9 km/h is it..........although you can always switch to imperial!"

Pros: Attractive, Rugged, Lightweight
"Yup, I mean it, No moving parts, no software, no glitches, no rubbish after-sales support, no crazy erratic odo readings. This unit is nice and simple, reliable every time. Thumblock strap is dead easy to remove when I leave the bike parked up in town as well."
