Terrific value
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Lightweight
"This is a review of the cromo saddle :
I've tried a few diferrent saddles over the years ranging form the SDG Bel Air and various WTB offerings, but for a "budget" offering this is an excellent saddle.Instantly comfortable and with good support it felt great straight out of the box.
I've now done a couple of 30+ m rides on my hardtail and think I've finally found the best value and fit out there . And the brown looks pretty cool too !
No hesitation recommending this one."

Primo perch
Pros: Comfortable, Great Value
"This saddle is great.
Its light enough to save those all important few grams over most standard stock saddles and the rails are long enough to allow for a fair degree of fore/aft adjustment - which is important to me as I ride a smallish framed XC bike but prefer to stretch out a bit.
In use its dead comfy right away, the shape seems pretty much perfect - well, for my butt at least - and I can move around comfortably and easily whatever shorts I'm wearing.
Its been proper caked in mud a few times now and has always cleaned up perfect , and the cover is not showing any signs of wear and tear or damage other than the logo rubbing off a bit. Looks pretty good too in an understated sort of way.
Over all a top seat which I actually prefer to its predicessor, the more expensive Selle Italia Flite

Outstanding value
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"The Spoon has met and exceeded all my expectations. Given its modest price, this is one of the best value bike bits I have purchased. Saddles are one of the more difficult items to buy, especially online. After 3 years moderate use the standard Bontrager supplied with my Trek 1400 road bike was going soggy. The Spoon looked the right shape online, but would it suit in reality? After only one or two rides I was totally convinced. The saddle is solidly built, looks good and has the right amount of texture to prevent slippage. At 258g its weight is quite acceptable. It has improved my riding comfort and even, I would say, energy transfer from body to bike. Just one possible issue - the Spoon has slightly prominent longitudinal seams (i.e. "texture") on the flanks, which might not suit everyone, although I've found no problems even on long sportives. My advice: if this is the shape you like, give this saddle strong consideration even against more expensive options."

Great saddle
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit
"I was looking for a saddle to go with my gunmetal with orange detail bike. I was gonna go for a black one but then came across the black with orange Charge Spoon saddle. Bought it after reading the reviews and wasn't disappointed. The shape suits me and enough padding for offroading with the hardtail."

Unacceptable variance on quoted wheight
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: heavier than quoted
"Undoubtedly very comfortable perch. BUT according to both my digital scales it weighs 292grms, about 13% more than quoted. I don't see how this can be accounted for within typical production variations ... Charge need to revise their spec."

Most comfortable ever, and cheapest
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I have had 3 different saddles now, from 3 different manufacturers. My last one was the most uncomfortable ever, I stuck with it for 12 months, and in the end thought that i would never get used to it.
My friend has had 2 charge spoons, and suggested I give one a try.
I am glad I did, easy to fit, with adjustable fore, aft and angle, and comfortable from the first trip onwards.
I have done about 300 miles on it now, in 3 weeks, and it's lovely.

For the price 5 stars
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Versatile
"Bought as a result of ploughing through many reviews and I am not disappointed. Been building a mountain bike and trying to keep price down where I can qithout sacrificing too much quality and this seemed to fit the bill. Glad I went this way as so far it has been a fantastic buy. I think you would have to spend probably three times as much to get a saddle with noticable benefits in weight / comfort."

Best saddle yet
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Good Fit
"Bought this to replace a more expensive gel saddle that I had fitted to my new bike about 3 yrs ago, which always left me feeling uncomfortable after an hour or so, having to continually stand up and adjust position. I just thought this was inevitable because of my build (slim and narrow).
But this saddle is suprisingly very comfortable, even after a 3 hour ride I wasn't suffering the usual aches and pains. I now feel more able to ride longer distances.
A real bargain too.

Excellent value for money
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality
"I bought this saddle to replace my Selle San Marco saddle which was stolen (seatpost still intact though!). I couldn't afford to replace the saddle with a like for like model and with all the good reviews, hoped that this would be as good... and it is!"

Comfortable Pew
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable
"Felt comfortable straight away, once I got the position correctly adjusted - which was more of a trial & error on my part than anything wrong with the saddle. Plenty of support & has been comfotable on a couple of 30m+ MTB rides.
Seat cushioning is spot on although I felt the nose was a little more bulbous than my last saddle & took a little getting used to. Only other very small gripe is it's quite a smooth finish which has at times caused me to move around a little.
Very pleased overall though.

very comfortable
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality
"I usually use a Specialized Body Geometry saddle but this was on offer and I needed a new one for the mountain bike so I took the plunge.
I first tried this on the road bike but found that without the channel cutout the 'downstairs' dept was feeling a bit tingly on longer rides, which I did not suffer from with the spesh bg stuff. I swapped it onto the mountain bike and it has been great.
With a different riding position and using the legs more you do not sit the same on a mtb and I now find this saddle as good as any I've had. It hard wearing and looks the business, if you can get one at sale price then its a bargain."

Very comfortable!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"This has been the first 'upgrade' saddle I have ever used, but I have been very pleased with it indeed.
The bike I put it on is an old '80s Raleigh, which is my only bicycle, and therefore used for all of my cycling, which includes commuting (8-15 miles each way). It previously had a typical cheap stock seat on it. Not designed for any significant mileage, comfort or performance, and very uncomfortable.
This saddle on the other hand is everything I was hoping it would be. The sleek, sliced-away design eliminated chafing on my thighs, and it is very supportive and comfortable. No more aching a couple of miles in!! The graduation marks on the rails were also handy for positioning it, it seems to be well constructed, and it even looks great too!!
Overall, excellent, and a lot of product for the money. One of the best upgrades I've ever made, and highly recommended."

Top end product without the price tag to match!
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable
"The charge spoon is a great looking saddle with all the care in manufacturing that you would expect in a saddle atleast 2 or 3 times the price.
The sturdy rails allow plenty of adjustment and the shape and length are perfect for x/c riding
Top saddle!"

"Ive put no to recommend to a friend as ive only had chance to use the seat 3 times up till now,so i cant really say if its comfy or not,as it still needs time to "bed" in."
