Terrific value
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Lightweight
"This is a review of the cromo saddle :
I've tried a few diferrent saddles over the years ranging form the SDG Bel Air and various WTB offerings, but for a "budget" offering this is an excellent saddle.Instantly comfortable and with good support it felt great straight out of the box.
I've now done a couple of 30+ m rides on my hardtail and think I've finally found the best value and fit out there . And the brown looks pretty cool too !
No hesitation recommending this one."

Primo perch
Pros: Comfortable, Great Value
"This saddle is great.
Its light enough to save those all important few grams over most standard stock saddles and the rails are long enough to allow for a fair degree of fore/aft adjustment - which is important to me as I ride a smallish framed XC bike but prefer to stretch out a bit.
In use its dead comfy right away, the shape seems pretty much perfect - well, for my butt at least - and I can move around comfortably and easily whatever shorts I'm wearing.
Its been proper caked in mud a few times now and has always cleaned up perfect , and the cover is not showing any signs of wear and tear or damage other than the logo rubbing off a bit. Looks pretty good too in an understated sort of way.
Over all a top seat which I actually prefer to its predicessor, the more expensive Selle Italia Flite

Outstanding value
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"The Spoon has met and exceeded all my expectations. Given its modest price, this is one of the best value bike bits I have purchased. Saddles are one of the more difficult items to buy, especially online. After 3 years moderate use the standard Bontrager supplied with my Trek 1400 road bike was going soggy. The Spoon looked the right shape online, but would it suit in reality? After only one or two rides I was totally convinced. The saddle is solidly built, looks good and has the right amount of texture to prevent slippage. At 258g its weight is quite acceptable. It has improved my riding comfort and even, I would say, energy transfer from body to bike. Just one possible issue - the Spoon has slightly prominent longitudinal seams (i.e. "texture") on the flanks, which might not suit everyone, although I've found no problems even on long sportives. My advice: if this is the shape you like, give this saddle strong consideration even against more expensive options."

Great saddle at a great price.
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I've had this saddle on my pub bike for three years and it is still going strong, so when it came to getting a new saddle for my track bike I couldn't find a better choice. Like all the charge stuff it is low price and high value. The only down side is that the logo and seams are the wrong colour for my bike."

An excellent affordable saddle, when adjusted
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, Adjustable
"I bought this to replace the very comfortable but badly worn 20 year old gel saddle originally fitted to my Dawes Galaxy; I simply replaced the saddles without adjusting the seat post.
Big mistake! After several easy rides, I decided that I needed to wear my thick dhb shorts to counter the harder saddle.
Then I went for a long hard ride and it soon became uncomfortable and then my legs went numb.
The saddle had become nose high and it was too high for my legs. After adjusting this it has been a fantastic fit.

Excellent value and quality.
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Build quality is fantastic and the geometry of the saddle is spot on, my sit bone is feeling the difference in a positive way. I like a nice firm saddle to give me feedback from the rear wheel and this more than fits the bill. Not been out in wet weather yet but hopefully the perforated material doesn't soak the water up like a sponge. Now can I persuade the wife I should have bought the leather one, hmmm."

Cheap, comfortable, but poor quality
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable
Cons: Low Quality, Wears Out Easily
"I guess that I will buy another of these because they are so cheap, lightweight and comfortable.
However the one I have now was purchased in 2010 and I have ridden around 3k dry miles on it and the cover is breaking and splitting in several places.
The saddles on my other bikes have lasted much longer and were also buget saddles, including the Prolite ti railed one on my TT bike (which is made by Velo as I believe the Spoon is).
Perhaps I was unlucky, I have email Charge for their comments about expected longevity, but they haven't bothered to reply. Not impressed but I suppose if you consider it a throw away item after a couple of years then you wont be disappointed."

Outstanding buy
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Finding the 'perfect' saddle is a mission for most serious cyclists. Having used c. 20 mainly traditional ones (ie not minimalist perches) over the years I took a gamble on this, based on the many positive reviews. It was very comfortable for two back-to-back three hour spins, and I'm sure it will be fine for much longer rides. Can't comment on durability yet, but it seems well made and although I'd like a real leather cover I can live with synthetic (which actually does have some advantages).
Saddles are the most personal of choices, and a recommendation isn't a guarantee, but you'd be unlucky/unusual not to find this a comfortable seat and a very good buy.

Best value for money saddle anywhere
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"This was the third saddle I have bought to try to ease my discomfort on 'longer' rides. As a newbie triathlete, I have never cycled much more than 20 miles per ride and always suffered with pain in the perennium after about 10miles. After reading the multitude of other reviews on Wiggle, (and bearing in mind the low cost) I decided to take a punt on this saddle. Since fitting, I have been able to up my distance to 30miles+ with no noticeable soreness. Although I didn't particularly want white (only colour in stock when ordered), it does help my bike stand out in transition and, so far, has resisted staining quite well. Cant compare it to more expensive saddles as I don't do the mileage to justify the cost but, unless you plan to train for a full ironman, I can't see you finding a better saddle than this for twice the price."

So far so good.....
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight
"Trouble with saddles is you really can't tell until you've spent a long time on one.
I was looking for a replacement for my hybrid Escape 2 trail/commuter bike which I know from experience that the saddle gets uncomfortable after a hour or so.
I don't intend to wear padded shorts fo my commute so I wanted something not necessarily padded (as I have an old fashion Rolls on my race bike which is pretty hard but well profiled) but is well shaped for me.
this came with good reviews and I did contemplate the leather version, but have to say this synthetic version looks the part with low maintenance advantages.
I could only give it 5 stars for comfort if I had been in the saddle over an hour and be able to say it was still comfortable. As I haven't I cannot make that judgement yet.

Great saddle
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"After spending a lot of money on two other saddles I had no luck with comfort, first I had a San marco ponza power then I invested £80 in a selle Italia max flite gel which from the reviews was a great saddle but alas not for my butt, then I decided to try the charge spoon and at less than £20 I was a bit sceptical but I was wrong brilliant saddle and so comfortable even after 40 miles don't know why anyone would spend a lot of money on a saddle when there are products like this available. Simply brilliant."

"I have been riding my stock saddle now for around four months and continuously getting a lot of discomfort, so I decided to upgrade to this Charge chromo saddle, it has been an absolute dream and so far after around a thirty mile ride it has been fantastic no rubbing or discomfort. I ride a MTB. Will be doing a 60mile ride next week so hopefully should do the trick. I am quite a heavy rider 100kg so trust me its solid, I was a little weary at first as it was a lot harder than the stock but it seems like the harder the better."

"I looked at all sorts of reviews and went for this one (one of the cheapest).
Ive ridden approx 300 miles so far and its been very comfortable. This saddle has been a good purchase for me, but as most reviews have already said ' saddles are a very personal thing'
