Continental City Contact Reflective MTB Tyre and Tube Set
Comes complete with 1 year anti puncture guarantee. The old City Contact got 9/10 in What MTB. It has now been enhanced with a reflective sidewall.

Tubeless

"I bought a pair of these in 26" x 2.1" and installed with Stans. They were the easiest pair of tires I've installed tubeless. Easier than Sport Contacts, Maxxis Crossmarks and the Hutchinson Fusion 2s on my road bike. If you want to do the same this is what to do:
First, install them on your wheels with the tubes for a few days at 60psi to make sure the beads are nice and straight. They'll already be very good as wiggle don't fold them.
When you're ready to convert to tubeless, remove the tubes from the wheels. Install your valves in the rim and put the tires back. Soap up the beads and inflate until the beads pop into place. I used a floor pump ONLY, no CO2 or compressor at all. Immediately deflate slowly making sure the beads stay in place on the rim, remove the valve core, put your sealant and core back in and re-inflate for the 3rd and final time. Tubeless slick mtb tires.

'Stonking' Tyre

"Just fitted these tyres to my Hard Tail MTB for dark evening training on the roads. Massive improvement in efficiency and fantastic grip. Did a regular ride of 20km and did it in 35% less time! Only one complaint.........Will now have to invest in a new cassette as my legs can't pedal fast enough!!!!!!!! Love the reflective sidewalls for added safety."

"Excellent tyres,
I changed from old MTB tyres having started using my hybrid to commute to work, so bought a pair of these Continental's - easy to fit, good grip on the road, no punctures yet (the guarantee should cover any though) and pretty cheap.
Only problem is the extra speed from having these tyres means I'll probably end up having to change a load of other components to keep up my cadence!"

"Me and my friend have now used these tires on multiple tours totaling approximately 15,000km between us and neither of us have EVER had a puncture. That includes cycling across Western Australia on dirt roads. We will not use any other type of tire now. Sure they weigh a little more than a standard tire but if you have a bike with 5 or 6 bags and a trailer or even just on your daily commute the last thing you want to do is be patching a tire. Everyone should use these except the racers."

"Fitted these to my Cannondale Lefty for some road work whilst working in France and what a difference they make instead of the off road tyres. With less rolling resistance can go faster and keep the momentum up easily.

Solid road tyre
"Bought a pair of these to replace the knobbly tyres that came with my MTB as they weren't ideally suited to the daily commute.
Quite impressed with them so far. No problems fitting them, good grip (even in the bad weather we've been having in the UK this winter) and the reflective strip around the tyre is a bonus that certainly helps me feel more visible at night.
Only downside is that they didn't seem to improve the performance over my knobbly tyres as much as I'd hoped."

I have to say that they perform really well, especially in the wet – no more knobblies for the ride to work! The biggest bonus is the puncture guarantee - a whole year or a new tube: I have had them on for almost 2 years now with no flats - amazing!"

Replace them was the easiest thing I've ever done. The addition of new inner tubes is definitely a plus eventough the valves on the tyres are the presta type (somethings I haven't had before).
The reflective tyres are one of the best things, the look so cool even during the day and there is no way you can hide with them in the evening.
These tyres are even thinner than the original carrera provides and the grip on the roads while you cycle is the best.

"With the free inner tubes, these were good value, and they look good on too. Not quite as comfortable a ride as I was hoping on the roads, but they seem quite fast. As other reviewers have pointed out, you'll need your own caps and lock nuts for the Presta-valve inner tubes. Nice and quick on the free delivery too - thanks!"

Big Difference
"I started using my mountain bike to commute to work and so decided to switch tyres to see if slicks really did make cycling on the road easier.
Well, the difference is significant! I'd say I can cycle 15-20% faster using these road tyres.. They really do make a difference...
