Great value tool
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
"Was considering buying the Park tools chain whip, but decided to go with the cheaper model, thinking "hey, a chainwhip is a chainwhip and this one is much cheaper". Thankfully, I believe that I was right.
Maybe if you had a lot of work for this tool, it would be worth buying the more expensive brand, but how often am I really going to disassemble my cassette/hub assembly? Not as often as I should, probably, but I just won't have the time to wear this tool out. Not that it feels like it will wear out. It is a solid tool and I can find no flaws.
Word to the wise. Don't even bother trying to rig together some home-made tool for this job. Chances are, you'll just tear-up your hands or severely injure yourself with a piece of flying chain. This is one situation where "the right tool for the job" applies. It's cheap and reliable and will cut down on medical expenses in the long run."

First time
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Good Fit
"First time to use such a tool as I am still a relative newbie to cycling. Took me a minute or two to get the hang of it.
Again, not a whole lot of experience with this but worked well when I replaced the wheels."

LifeLine 10 Speed Chain Whip
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, Good Fit
"Product works well and cassette holds firmly whilst attempting to undo. Tip: Place a tie through the sprockets and spacers as they are being removed an in this way one can keep the pieces in order of removal and is handy for keeping all together when cleaning and replacing."

Very poor quality
Cons: Low Quality
"Managed to break this on it's very first application. If the cassette is tight the tool will bend and the chain gave way. Replaced it with a park tool version which is more expensive but can be relied on."

Simple and easy
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality
"Well, it does what is required really. Nice solid piece of equipment that any home workshop should have. I use it to flick over my cassette onto my mag trainer wheel and tyre (I know, I should lash out for a cassette, but the War Office- the wife - won't approve additional expenditure). The unit is bulletproof, what more could you want with a chain whip - use as directed...:)"
