BB removal tool
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value
"I bought this after reading other reviews and thought for the money it was worth trying out. I have to say that I found the tool excellent - maybe I was lucky in that my BB didn't take a great deal of persuasion. The tool 'head' fit the flanges/splines perfectly and I found that the handle was very comfortable. As somebody else wrote "how many times in my biking life will I fit BB's?" buy one if you need to remove/fit a BB they're top value."

bracket tool
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"it is a spanner, it fits, it spanners! Having the right tool for the job has saved me a costly trip down the mountain to a bikeshop or much wailing and gnashing of teeth."

Great tool
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"For someone who has never attempted the finer points of bike maintenance apart from cleaning and lubricating, always paid someone else to do the technical stuff!, this tool was an excellent buy. It was easy to use, the length of the handle gives a good leverage and the soft grip end ensures you have the firm grip needed to slacken and tighten the bottom bracket. The notches in the socket means a slip free action and more importantly no damage to the end caps so I was able to strip, regrease and reassemble the bracket easily."

A bit flimsy - use with caution
Pros: fits truvativ bb
Cons: Low Quality
"So you want to change that rough bottom bracket? Dead easy, just get the tool that fits the bb rings, wind them off and fit the new one. Snag is that bbs are cranked on to a high torque, and then go even tighter with use and crusty-ness, so you need a tool that can take some force.
This is not that tool.
The head and fist couple of cms are robust, but the handle, although a decent length, is just folded metal kind of tacked onto the head. Perhaps the bb I had was particularly stiff, but I was bending the handle at the join without releasing the bb. (I ended up using a steel pipe that fitted over the handle and levered against the head to remove my bb, so was successful in the end, but despite, not because of this tool). Maybe this is where you should pay a bit more and get better one"

Useful and cheap
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged, High Quality
"This product does the job without the hefty price tag of some other brands. It's durable, and it's long handle gives you the force you need to tighten the BB cups. My only gripe is the pre-load tool in the butt of the wrench tends to want to escape, but that doesn't matter too much."

Looks good
Pros: Great Value
"I have yet to try this tool, but I think it will do the job, although I have heard that there is a greater risk of damage to paintwork and cups than if using the tool that goes over the splines, but it will not be an everyday tool, might only use it the once, as I am not so far impressed with this style of BB, bring back the sealed cartridge please."

Does the job
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Good Fit
Cons: Bulky
"It's bulky but it works well and grips the BB cups firmly. Also comes with a crank cap remover that fits neatly into the end of the handle.
Why pay more?"

Good but could be better.
Pros: Good Fit
"Did the job well. Long handle makes removal of tough parts a doddle. Easily slips off the cups though which was annoying when trying shift really stiff parts. Comes with a crank installation tool, although I didn't try this out."

Does the job
Pros: Great Value
"Used it to change a Truvativ GXP BB. Did the job no-sweat. I can understand the cup type tools to which you can apply a torque wrench being better but can't understand why anyone would want to pay more for a tool which does the same as this one."

Great Value Product
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Lightweight
"Perfect tool for the job bearing in mind the reasonable pricing. Only slight niggle would be that the plastic attachment that slots in to the handle falls out."
