"Purchased as a direct replacement for faulty top of the line Northwaves and not disappointed.
In white they are simply spectacular to look at. Being a heavier than average rider the power transfer was vital and the Ergo 2's came up with the goods. Although I've had no issues with any of the parts it's also comforting that you can acquire replacement parts for pretty much the whole closure system. Yes they're expensive but heh! like Loreal say 'You're worth it'!"

Looking good and going fast!

"What is there to say? You've seen them in the pro peloton. So they must be good? They make motorbike gear so they must be cool? They're Italian so they;ll make you quicker and make you more attractive to the opposite gender?
Well, the truth is that most of that is true.
Endowed with very stiff, full carbon soles they are as stiff as a very stiff thing indeed. Power transfer through your cranks is likely to see the cranks themselves flex before these shoes do. As a road/power interface you cannot beat them. Simply cannot.
They look great. Stunning. The black are nice. The white are nicer (if you have the legs dahling!) and the red are out of this world. You do need some confidence to wear the reds of course! the only drawback is that if you do toe rub your wheels you could end up scraping a small part of the finish off. I did that on mine and have a few scuffs. Nothing major.
The ratchet and wheel mechanism works great. Though I'm unsure as to whether the wheel is really that much better than the velcro on the Genious for example.
Value? Well, they ain't cheap clearly! And the exchange rate hurts. But really you'll be wearing these for a long time. Though perhaps not in the rain because they are soooo sexy. So another pair of cheaper shoes for the rain will push that price up!
Good then? Just a bit. ;)"

"The Sidi Ergo 2 shoes perform well , look good and are very comfortable but would probably be less so if you a wider foot.
Also you will almost certainly need a size larger than you would normally take.
Quality shoes but at a price !!"
