Save Your Life!
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: none
"My brother was wearing one of these when he had a front tyre blow out when we were descending on our road bikes at 58 mph! Lots of road rash, separated shoulder, 7 fractured ribs and a trashed helmet that had done it's job. Giro even give out crash replacement vouchers! Well worth the money."

Very nice lid
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
"This is the first helmet of bought (other's have been second hand) and it fits very well. I have a funny sized head so went for the large size and the fit is good.
The straps are easily adjustable and the rear adjuster is excellent and just makes it snug.
Overall, highly recommended and I wouldn't ride anywhere without it."

Excellent helmet
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"The Giro Monza helmet provides a very good fit with an easy to use system at the rear of the helmet to allow you to tighten/loosen whilst out in the saddle.
Being right on the edge of the medium/large scale I opted for the medium. I find they have a little give and I can wear it with the chin strap loose and it feels very (but not overly) snug.
The helmet provides adequate ventilation for summer use. Now in the winter I'm not too cold, but I'm starting to think about an overcap.
Also it's pretty light for the price and after 4 months of regular usage, it looks like it will last me."

Great Lid
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Very comfortable good looking lid with excellent ventilation. So light and comfy you don't even realise you're wearing it. Rocloc system works easily so you can adjust when wearing headband or hat underneath. Cannot comment on durability but appears well made and finished with no loose bits or rough edges, nicely painted too. Chose this lid after using Giro Hex for past couple of years for XC MTB with no problems, same goood fit and quality. Recommended."

Monza Helmet
"A really good value helmet. I'd looked and tried on most available, but found Giro to be the best fit for me. Of the Giro range I found the Monza to be almost as good as the top end helmets, but just really good value. No complaints here."

Great Value
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"First my wife ordered medium white/silver. Then after arriving, she was so excited that looked great appearance. Comfy, light and looks good
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Airy, light, looks good and fits well and is easyily adjustable. Make sure your sure on sizing before buying ! For the money a good purchase. On close inspection i did think the build quality was lacking a bit, but really picking fault afterall it is only a bit of polystrene covered in plastic to protect your swede."

Decent helmet - a bit big
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: Bulky
"Well made comfortable helmet that looks good by itself. On your head it is a bit big - you can feel the drag in the wind. The fit is snug and comfortable. Used to have a giro atmos when I was into road racing so this obviously won't be as good or as small (no carbon frame for strength...) but for the money it's a pretty decent helmet."

Good mid- price crash hat
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: fiddly straps
"This is my third Monza cycle hat, so they must be doing something right!
Good looks and styling, my only gripe is the straps can be a little fiddly.
Plenty of colour schemes available to match your bike, and good ventilation to prevent overheating.

Aesthetic and solid
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I needed a smaller fit helmet in the mid-price range. This has proven to be an excellent choice. The adjustment was straightforward and worth spending time on to get a perfect fit. The helmet is solid, well made and very well vented."

Well worth considering.
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: easily marked
"I bought this to replace an older Giro helmet which had seen better days. I wasn't specifically looking for another Giro, although I had had good service from the old helmet (it protected me against bird strike!).
This new helmet looks better (it is predominantly matt black, which I like), has better padding, and an upgraded version of the quick adjust mechanism (which I like as it's easy to adjust when wearing a hat). It feels like it sits around the head far better than the old one, although a glance shop window shows it still sits high up. I do find it far more comfortable to wear, however.
One concern when it turned up was the lack of a peak, as the old helmet had one and it seemed to do a good job of keeping the rain off of my glasses. However, a recent Cumbrian summer showed that the new helmet is barely any worse in this respect, so a peak is not essential. Would still have been nice to have one, though.
The packaging is well-designed and included is spare foam pads and a Giro sticker. Feel-good touches that make you feel you've got value for money.
The biggest criticism I have of this helmet concerns the matt black finish. It looks excellent but is already showing marks; I wonder about it's longevity."

Very Good Purchase
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Bulky
"I am throughly satisfied with the purchase. It has protected me when on a couple on occasions. The roc-loc fit is easy to use (as it should be) and makes the helmet very comfortable. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars overall is because the helmet does seem quite large (though I do have a big head). However, t is still very streamlined and attractive. Would definitely recommend."

Great Value for Money
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Whilst for many top helmets you can be forking out hundreds of dollars, you fundamentally are buying protection for your head.
This was purchased as a replacement for a crash damaged Giro helmet, but for half the price of the top of the line models it still looks very very nice.
Vents are there, the shape is good, the straps and locking mech are all perfect ... all in all a brilliant helmet which still looks "professional" and protects your head.

Giro Monza Cycling Helmet
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"The 2010 ‘Giro Monza Helmet’ is smooth and suave; it’s the one that stood out from the crowd in the shop, it’s really stylish but could I get it cheaper on-line….you bet a saving of about £15 from the shop price!
Well made….good looks…nice price…recommended"

Good quality helmet
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable
"I purchased this helmet to replace an older Giro model that I had. This one has a slightly different fit to it (not sure if there has been a design change or it's just the different models) and I originally purchased a Medium. It was way too small and I used Wiggle's hassle free returns and had a Large a few days later. Large fits fine now.
It's pretty light for the recreational cyclist (310g) and the matt black version looks nice."
