Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
"First snowfall of the season (5-10 cm) last night and a wonderful morning ride towards the rising sun - could one imagine better conditions for the first ride with the new winter cycling boots? A dream but true! Size and fit are perfect for my slim feet. It turned out crucial to follow recommendation found on web to order one size larger than usual. Temperature (after a 3 hours ride around 0 degrees Centigrade still comfortable) and overall cycling performance are great, perceived quality top of the line and therefore full score for product and dealer offering benchmark price you will not find in Germany!"

Excellent for mud/rain
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit
"Had these for a week or so now, my route to work gets _really_ muddy this time of year from leaf litter/rain, combined with some water proof overtrousers its simply a case of running my legs under the tap to get cleaned up now. Very comfy fit, no rubbing, not restrictive of ankle movement, breath-ability is good, feels very solid boot. No leaks what-so-ever."

Celsius for wimpy feet
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile, warm
"I purchased these boots because my feet get cold as soon as the temps dip down to the low 40's (F). I plan to use these shoes for cyclocross and road riding throughout the winter. Thus far they have done the job, they don't feel too bulky and they look good too!"

Northwave Celsius GTX MTB Cycling Boots
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: Unadjustable
"Like most others I bought these boots to avoid cold feet in the winter. Like most others I like the price and choice of websites but I like the idea of local bike shops but increasingly they stock less. So I had to 'try' my luck with ordering online and ultimately the fit.
I started with a 42 which I am in a road shoe and I usually wear Specialized. They were ok in the length but too tight in the width I have an average width foot I would say. So I had to go for a 43 which are a bit too big even with a thick wool sock. If you can try both sizes the one you are and a size bigger. I accept this is a bit problematic and to hedge my bets go a size larger.
On to the boots: They are warm at -2 and feel comfortable the velcro strap at the top allows for movement but I doubt it would keep water out I would think you can't have one with the other. The lacing system is not great the 'stopper' on the laces slips loose particuarly if you tuck it under the ankle strap as it pushes on the release catch. The lacing system does leave the question of where it actually goes once pulled tight .
Overall I think these are an improvement on overshoes and two pairs of socks but I don't think they are best answer."

Best Winter Gear for ages
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"These boots do everything promised and have banished cold wet feet. I bought them for mtbing but they are probably compact enough for roadies too.
They do come up a bit small so go one sixe larger than nornal. I kake a 44 but went for a 45 which is a perfect fit.
If you only buy one piece of kit to get thru the winter make sure its these boots!

Warm and very dry
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged
"Used these in snow and ice on the mtb and also on a very cold day on the road bike excellent boot keeping my feet warm and dry even in all the snowy slush.
I bought one size up and there is plenty of space for several socks

Keeps your feet warm
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"A definite improvement over Sealskin socks and summer shoes - I can feel my toes after a long ride through snow, slush and standing water. There's still the possibility of water running down your leg getting in but they work.
Order 1 continetal size bigger - e.g. 43 if you normally take 42 as you'll want room for woolen socks and don't want to cut off the blood supply in the cold."

Comfortable Winter Riding at Last!
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Unattractive
"Absolutely briliant - these are the second pair I have bought. Got them for myself last year - these are for my girlfriend. Have used them for both road & mountain biking. In both cases they perform really well. For off-road I recommend they are used in conjunction with a pair of SealSkin socks for the 'ultimate' in comfort.
When purchasing bear in mind they come up quite large, but I'm guessing this is for bulky winter socks.
In conclusions, can't recommend these enough to any die hard winter riders who up until now have suffered with cold feet."

Pros: Comfortable, High Quality
"These boots will keep out the cold. However, it is hard walking shoes. With gloves, hard to tie a shoelace. These shoes are suitable for people against the elements to ride my bike on a long time."

Great winter boots
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit
"I bought these after my previuos winter boots died. These looked good and were well priced compared to the competition (shimano).
The fit is excellent, I am a UK9 but ordered a 44 to allow for thick socks. The fit is secure but allows the toes to move to keep the blood circulating, but I do have fairly narrow feet. My feet stayed toasty for a three hour ride in the snow on Sunday which started at -3 degrees.
I have yet to test them in really wet conditions or I may have given the full 5 stars.
definitely recommended.

Northwave Celsius GTX MTB Cycling Boots
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: top strap too short
"They perform very well, my feet were are dry even after some of the wettest rides this year. The only complaint is the top velcro strap is a little too short and can come unstuck when riding.
Good grip and sole, altogether a good boot, shame about the top strap

Northwave Celsius GTX MTB Boots
"Hallo

Cons: Expensive
"Probably the best winter MTB shoes on the market - really waterproof and well shaped. A bit complicated closing - especially where to put the long laces after closing. Good grip even if the deep mud (when necessary to walk), a bit difficult to remove afterward it I do not want to use the WAP. And chceck the numbering - the italian one does not fit those I am used to (EU)."

I've bought these twice now.
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality
"I bought a pair a few years ago - extra large for warm socks. I got tired of walking around in size 9 shoes (I'm a 7.5); the velcro loosened up on one of the long straps and a front stud fell off. If you value a product by the number of times you wear them they cost me about 23p per wear. (It could have been half that - I'm being conservative).
Within a couple of days of buying them I'd replaced the laces (under the velcro cover) with elastic. As they are not on view I used elastic bands discarded by post people.
I think 23p per day is worth it for warm, dry feet. I have bought a snugger fitting pair and I am going to try to leave the velcro loose until I actually ride the bike. I think going up and down stairs and walking in the boots loosened the velcro's grip.
At a recent training day my feet were warm and the other participants seemed to be shivering in their Endura shoe covers.
I also ordered the Farenheit thinking I SHOULD ride road boots but I don't like them. They are glassy on the bottom and I'm going to send them back."
