Dissappointing
Cons: didn't do what it said it would
"Having read the other reviews I hoped this would make my worn Night Vision jacket waterproof again. It is bright and shiny now but testing under a running tap the water quickly came through where there had been wearing over the 5 years I've had it. So I failed in my bid to avoid buying a new jacket and was unimpressed by the product's claims."

Save your money
Cons: Expensive, Low Quality, Wears Out Easily
"I wont but this again as I feel you're better off purchasing the proofer spray which you apply only jackets etc after washing and then tumble dry them for a good few minutes.
They say you should use this cleaner and proofer first but I really don't see the benefit. You only get two or three jackets washed to one bottle as opposed to six or seven with the spray and that to me, is not value for money."

"Had a GORE winter top that had been through the wash a lot and had lost a lot of its waterproofing. Used Grangers product as recommended and was impressed with the result. Rain just beads on the surface of the top, as it did when new. Will continue to wash it regularly with this product.

useful but not brilliant
"Granger's seems to do quite a good job of preserving the sheen of waterproof materials, whilst cleaning them up to some extent. If I sound hesitant it is because my waterproof jacket was still stained after being washed. Perhaps this is inevitable as a stronger cleaner might also strip away the waterproofing. Or perhaps I allowed it to get too dirty in the first place?"

Not great but ok
"Tried this product to reproof my goretex jackets, was nice and simple to use as its just pour it in /wash/then dry in tumble dryer.
However, i have to be critical in that on the first use in rain the water did not bead off hardly at all and the material just soaked straight away not repelling anything, but it did not let water through though.
I suspect that a 2 in 1 will never be as good as a dedicated cleaner then a dedicated reproofer. Will not use in the future but will use the seperate cleaners/proofers instead."

My wateproof is leaking
"My waterproof is leaking, it lets in water. How many times have you heard that? Waterproofs arent designed to stay waterproof forever without help. Everytime a waterproof gets wet or dirty or even just friction from wearing it it reduces the waterproofing efficiency resulting in sooner than later a saturated waterproof. Use this stuff & follow the simple instructions to keep your waterproof fantastic & laugh at your mates when they get wet. Grangers know their onions."
