Safe as Houses
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
"Just been knocked off my bike by some dizzy Italian driver on my way back to Florence from Chianti. After completing trip toe-loop with pike I landed upside down on my head. Bike intact (good old Cervelo Soloist), but more importantly Helmet too - full impact, and survived perfectly. Well done Met! So the ultimate test passed with flying colours. I also think it looks great. I went for White - any other motorbike riders will tell you its the most visible and therefore safe colour - so I'd advise to do the same, particularly those in N.Europe. For this price its a steal to keep your brain intact."

You can forget you've got it on
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"When the parcels arrive from wiggle I'm worse than a kid at Christmas. This is the first ttime I've spent a lot on a helmet and difference is immediately obvious. The quality is top notch and the comfort...well, I keep forgetting to take it off. But, I don't want to find out how it works!"

Perfect helmet
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Recently I purchased not one, but two Met Inferno UL helmets in different colours. I loved the first one so much, I purchased the second one in a different colour to add some variety to my training and racing attire. Previously I also used a Met helmet which fitted like a glove, but is now about 8 years old and has seen better days. Due to only being able to wear small sized helmets and struggling to find another brand of helmet to fit, it only seemed natural to buy another Met helmet. I didn’t even try one on before purchasing online. The Met Inferno helmet not only fits superbly, but it is extremely light weight and provides maximum ventilation. Very easy to fit and adjust with minimum fuss. During my ride wearing my new helmet, I occasionally checked if I was wearing a helmet at all, because it fit so snug. Certainly a sleek design. Met is a fantastic brand. Now I have 3 Met helmets!!"

A good around helmet
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"I bought this for use on all occasions - training, club ride and a Sunday run out for a coffee. It is very light, a good fit for me and well ventilated but not draughty. It is a great value helmet with good performance."

Warm and wonky
Pros: Great Value, High Quality
Cons: Wears Out Easily, Poor Fit
"The airflow through the helmet is not as good as the MET Estro it replaced. Even with a much cooler summer than usual I could feel the difference.
The sweat pad over the forehead part is quite thin and wears quickly and comes loose.
The winding adjuster is good, makes fitting easy when you swap between a cap on the commute in and bare head on the ride home.
Lastly, as it finishes at a point in the middle at the front I am forever having to adjust it get it to sit straight. It only needs to be a fraction off and it looks like you are wearing it at an angle, a point my gf just loves to point out."

Lite ?
Pros: High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"It was time for a new helmet, this was heavily discounted.
My outgoing skid lid is a Bell of some sort and I'm a little surprised to find out that this "UltimaLite" is exactly the same weight (285g. for a Large size) as the preceding wholly unspecial unit.
It took a good while to get the fit right and this is not something I'd like to fiddle with on a ride. It doesn't feel like the adjustment is going to slip and the helmet feels secure without beginning restrictive. It's quite a wide design and I can't imagine that any more vents are either practical or worthwhile.
All helmets are expensive right up to the point when you need it, then it becomes the best thing you ever bought."

Great lid!
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"had been using road bike with mid range MTB helmet for last couple of years. Looked around for a while, read a few reviews and decided the Met Inferno was the one for me! Great fit, easy to adjust and in White...looks the part too! Very happy."

"Excellent helmet for the price, light weight, comfortable.
Two very small grumbles though- 1) the little bulge at the front of the helmet is in the line of view when on the drops; just slightly distracting and 2) I lose a little bit of hair above my ear every time a remove the helmet - just a few strands! :)"

Gives me confidence
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"This is a good solid lightweight product. I have never had to test its protective performance (and hope to never have to), but it feels so lightweight like there's nothing on my head. This feature is more apparent during rides over 50kms."

Met Inferno helmet
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"A great helmet. Nice and light with very good rear adjustment for comfort. Sizing seems very accurate and chin strap can be adjusted easily so it fits around ears neatly. Good air flow in warm weather. I also have a Giro Ionos and the Met helmet is just as good quality."

Head Start
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Well ventilated but if you are concerned about the strong sun just place a cotton handkerchief neatly inside to cover the vents. I choose the white for increased visibility.
This helmet is light and bright for day or night.

Arctic lite!
"Maybe not arctic but does provide great ventilation and seems to wick sweat better than my old MET helmet. A heap lighter too, seems to make a difference on long training rides.
Only gripe is the straps are thin so seem to cut into the chin a bit."
