Titanium Cool
Pros: Attractive, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"I bought these titanium cages to replace carbon cages on my Bianchi S9 Matta Titanium frame purely because I am shallow and wanted a better asthetics.
They have enhanced the look of the bike, they are suitabley light weight and hold both my bidon and tool bottle snuggly but not too firm where the bidon is not easiy accesable though any corner even during the Heffron Park crit races on Saturday.
These cages are the duck's guts."

Pros: Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"I must admit, I bought these cages mainly because most cages looked ugly when mounted to my silver anodized Santa Cruz Superlight. I bought these simply because they have a very minimalist look. Plus, the fact that they are made from Titanium ( I'm a big fan of the metal), which is strong, and the bonus that they weigh next to nothing, means that these are actually top-value cages ! They come with nice low-profile bolts too, although I didn't use them because I have colour-coded bolts on the bike .
My bike now looks complete :D Also, they don't seem to scratch my bottles, which is great.
My CamelBak Chilljacket bottle seems a bit of a tight fit though, and I have to pull kinda hard to get it out of the cage, but at least it's reassuring to know your bottle won't get dislodged while riding hard.
Top cages !

Light, good price and unique
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Great Value, Lightweight
"Carbon cages are very yesterday. Stainless is too heavy, but this cage is awesome. It has that burnished titanium colour, and really looks special... and they are 22gms.
Holds the bottle firmly no matter what the road surface, and does everything you expect from a cage.
Couldn't recommend it more highly"

Good value titanium
Pros: Attractive, Lightweight, titanium
"These are very lightweight; it's easy to remove/replace bottles; and appear to hold the bottles firmly (so far about 300 miles on British roads)."

What's not to like
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I have two of these on my Van Nic and about to buy another two for my MTB. (Sadly, not a Van Nic). :)
They've gone up a bit in price since I got mine, but still will buy them. Light, minimal, never had a bottle come out.... nothing bad to say about them at all."

Suited for those with FD clamps
Pros: Good Fit, 2 piece design good for fd clamps
Cons: appears flimsy
"Thank god for this design ! The screw braces are two piece, instead of one-piece. I ride a titanium frame and instead of a brazed-on clamp, i use a downtube clamp to secure my front derailleur. As such, this gets in the way of almost every bottle cage I have.
With this cage, I solve this issue, and in addition, there is also enough clearance to add a pump.
Workmanship wise, it looks flimsy with just a few solder/weld points. I have not used it long enough to comment on its durability. Hope the weld points lasts.
Lastly, the simple design and titanium material makes for a very very light cage!"

much better than carbon fibre bottle holders
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"nicer looking, don't scuff your bottles, nice two stage 'snap in' entry, very secure, haven't had a bottle drop out. If you have a titanium frame, there's no other choice"

"I just bought this water bottle to replace my carbon bottle cage which is broke after 1 year. This bottle cage very light and the made is really good compare to other titanium bottle cage.
The important thing of this bottle cage is easy to put in and out the bottle(not to tied or loose).

Brilliant bottle holders!
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I have used these for the last 500km or so and as silly as it sounds have enjoyed every time I have had to take a sip of water on the bike.
They are lighter, cheaper, look better, feel better to use than the equivilant carbon bottle holder, and there is just something special about titanium! A piece of metal shouldnt be so light in your hands!
Having been used to run of the mill steel bottle holders and tried carbon holders on occasion, these fit the bill perfectly as I like the feel of metal bottle holders but wanted something light weight.
My old bottle holders came in at 61g without the bolts (69g with bolts), and these come in less than half that weight at 25g (30g with bolts).
Upon use the first thing i noticed is that there is a bit more of a subtle 'click' than the steel insertion, the bottle doesnt feel any less surely seated, the best word i can used is that it feels more refined, a lot nicer to use.
I have also had these at 60kph down a hill over some pretty mean potholes and havent lost a bottle.
I have these on my carbon bike, and they look very elegant, long story short, buy them! you wont be dissapointed!"

Impractical design + weak metal
Pros: Attractive, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive, Low Quality, Wears Out Easily, flawed design
"I bought these cages to save a few grammes (for a joke, really). They certainly are lightweight and they look nice. That is pretty much all that can be in their favour.
The titanium bolts soon rattled loose, and the bolt heads rounded off when re-tightened so I had to replace them with bolts made from a proper heavy-duty metal, i.e. steel.
The design of the cage is impractical because unlike virtually any other cage, they only allow for the bottle to be removed in one direction (i.e. straight up). The standard bottle cage design allows the bottle to be pulled to either side as well. Why is this such a disadvantage? Because you cannot pull a 750ml bottle "straight up" on the seat tube without smacking it into your top tube (or your frame pump!)
In order to remove my bottle from the seat tube cage I had to twist it slightly to the side as it reached the top of the cage. This twisting action eventually took its toll on the notoriously weak metal known as titanium - and the part that screws into the frame snapped in half rendering the cage useless. To be honest, it was a relief as it gave me an excuse to go back to a normal cage. The titanium one had lasted less than 6 months.
Why do these cages have such a strange design? The only reason I can think of is because it clearly uses far less metal than the conventional design (i.e. less weight). But surely if the metal you're using is so much lighter than steel or alloy, why the need for this cheat?"

minimalist beauty
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Good Fit
"I got these too compliment a titanium road frame - looks very good. Holds bottles well - seems to look just as good as when bought - can't say the same for previous plastic and carbon cages."

Less expensive & more functional than carbon
Pros: Durable, Adjustable, Lightweight
"I bought this titanium cage to match my Enigma Etape frame, which it does very well. Compared with the cost of most carbon composite cages, it was good value at less than £23.
Only criticism is that with a full 750ml bottle on board, it rattled until adjustment of the side-frames achieved a firmer grip. Something not so easily achieved with a composite cage."

Titanium Bottle Cage
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Rugged, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"These were bought to match my titanium bike and they do. They are both light and robust so I'm satisfied. Doubt if I would have bought them at the full pre-sale price."
