Best Kids Balance Bike
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Love this bike. My oldest child really missed out. She was on a substandard balance bike. Purchased this bike for our second child and love it. Great construction. Light weight. Brake works really really well. Durable. Can be left outdoors and stands up to the elements. The balance bike is perfect for our uneven pavements, grass and local mountain bike trails. I also purchased the lowering kit for my 2yr old son. Perfect. He can keep up with his elder sibling and adores it. Love the basket option too. His favourite teddy can come too."

Great lightweight push-bike
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
Cons: Expensive, Limited Color Choices
"Snaps together fairly easily, although worth reading the instructions carefully, as you might need a hammer for the front-forks bolt.
Very lightweight compared to most kiddy bikes, which justifies the cost. This has the advantage that even toddlers can pick it up to get back on.
Robust glass-fibre frame which is impressively strong.
The "Cross" version has very cool looking deep-tread tires, which provide better traction on mud and grass (to prevent it sliding sideways).
The brake does a good job of stopping the bike without being too sudden.
The lowering kit is also worth buying if your child is under 3 or short for their age."

I wish I'd bought one of these for my older kids
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I have three kids and the first two learnt using the hand under the back of the seat technique. My youngest is now on this balance bike and he is hammering it around everywhere. He has so much confidence and learnt to balance only after a few goes. It is also really light so he can lift it up gutters and things like that. It's perfect. I would highly recommend it."

Excellent little bike
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
"Highly recommend the FirstBike. My husband has assembled so many toys but never has he enjoyed and been so happy with the ease and quality of parts. It was worth spending a little more for the quality we now have."

Excellent balance bike
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality
"We got this for our 3 year old son for Christmas. He had tried the one his older sister has but struggled as the seat was a little too high for him. This one was perfect with the lowering kit so he could have both his feet flat on the ground and it will last a long time. After only two outings he was already doing quick strides and after a couple of weeks was running along then lifting up his legs and gliding. It was simple to assemble, is well made and the seat is very easy to adjust with no need for tools."

Great for getting the kids into riding
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Purchased this bike for my son when he was 18 months. It took him 12 months before he was keen to get onto it. This was after seeing an older playmate riding it showing him what to do and how easy it was.
He has now progressed to a kids bike with pedals and although he had the balance sorted he needed to use trainer wheels for a while to get the idea of pedaling. When he eventually had the enthusiasm of his own making to have a crack at pedaling he picked it up first go, pedaling in circles and 8's around the back yard dodging dogs and holes along the way. Later in the day he was doing the same and starting off by himself.
Awesome teaching tool. Great fun for the kids. Excellent value for money at the current Wiggle prices.
The light weight of the first bike is huge factor in making it easier to learn on.
Tried the lowering kit in the early days but don't think he was ready to get on the first bike at this point.
The wheel bearings are awesome."

excellent
Pros: Attractive, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight
"Firstly, this bike is very easy to assemble, much to Santa's delight!
The seat height is easily changed and the brake lever can be adjusted for smaller hands.
I was amazed how quickly my 2 and a 1/2 year old son took to this balance bike, and although not using the brake yet, was confidently cruising with both feet off the ground within hours of his first go.
This bike looks really cool, is very lightweight so can be carried once they tire, and got many admiring glances as my son flew by!
It has restricted fork turning so they can't fall off when turning, and the nobly tyres are great for grass or mud!
All in all, it is one of the more expensive bikes but it has the looks technology and functionality to make one little boy very happy. Early days yet so cannot comment on robustness.

A great kids bike
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
"I bought it for my two years old god son a year ago. He's not stopped using it since and has mastered the technique after a few months.
My two years old girl is going to get one for her birthday!
NB The lowering kit is required for under three years old children."

Just what I hoped for!
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable
"My son is 3 and 1/2 years old, I was a little concerned that he would be too big for this bike, but the adjustable seat makes that a non-issue. He got it for Xmas, and of course the first day he tried it and didn't know what to do so he said he didn't like it. I took him out for a second try, and he immediately started to catch on, especially when I let him go down some gradual sloping hills. He is going to be cruising on this thing in no time, and is definitely going to be skipping training wheels when it comes to a real bike, which was our main goal in getting it."

Great quality, lightweight starter bike
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Reviewed lots of bikes before settling on this one after looking at other reviews and a recommendation from friend. Went with the model which included a brake which was a bonus as it stops your kids from wearing out their shoes (skidding along the ground). In summary a rugged bike, easy and lightweight enough to carry when your child gets tired. Only downside is it is one of the the more esxpensive bikes out there but worth it.
Top Tip: If you are based in UK, be sure to swap the brake lever over to the other handlebar as when you trade up to a pedal bike you'll find the brake your child has got used to doing skid turns with is now the front brake which will see them going over the handlebars until they get used to it.

Best balance bike by far
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Good Fit
"My partner and I have been looking for a balance bike for sometime. Staggers me that they are even sold with front brake only - recipe for disaster. This product is over double the price in Australia. Its amazing that you can buy a product online, have it shipped to your front door and its still cheaper. Product itself is all we had hoped for. Looks awesome, but most importantly my little girl loves it. This will get her well prepared for her first pedal bike. Hands down best balance out there."

"As the name implies this is my 2 year old son's First Bike!
I bought it for his birthday and the looks and quality of the bike are top notch! The assembly is easy even without the instructions.
The brake is excellent! Very easy to pull the brake even for a small child!
My son is 90cm tall and i had to lower the bike with the Firstbike lowering kit in order for him to be able to put his feet on the ground. After a month,he likes to ride it but not without help yet so if you have a bad back, be prepared!

Ideal starter bike.
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive, Limited Color Choices
"The first impressions of the bike where very good. I knew it would be a little big so i bought the lowering kit straight off. The bike was light so i wasn't worried about my boy pulling it around with him. My boy is only 17 months old but i thought id start him young his face on christmas day was a picture."
