Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I decided to buy some compression socks after having niggly calf problems on and off for several years. I did a bit of research into compression socks and decided to give them a go. I chose these as they ahad good reviews and were at the cheaper end of the spectrum. I wasn't disappointed. The socks are a great (tight) fit, do not feel or look 'cheap' at all. I have worn them on long runs, and found my legs stay fresher for longer. Have also used post run to aid recovery and if my calf muscles could talk , they would say 'Yes!'. I was also having some achilles problems which have subsided since using these. I wish I had discovered them years ago. I did try some cheaper 'flight socks' and there is no comparison, these are much better. I haven't tried any of the more expensive brands, but I am more than happy to stick with these to be honest. I'm female, so don't mind looking like an overgrown schoolgirl, but can appreciate they may look a bit odd on a bloke, sorry fellas."

Good Value Alternative to Fancier Brand
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value
Cons: "cotton balls" formed after a few wears
"This is my first pair of compression socks so I don't know how it compares to its competitors. It is quite a bit cheaper than the 2XU version, although admittedly it does not look as cool and feels slightly on the thin side.
I do high volumes of training coupled with fairly high intensity and these socks have certainly made a difference to recovery. I've not tried racing/training in them yet.
Light enough to wear to sleep (not bad for someone who hates wearing socks)."

Excellent Recovery Sock
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
"I purchased these specifically for 'improved' recovery, i,.e I will wear these after my training sessions, rather than during training (I just can't face wearing knee high socks in training)
The most noticable benefit of these is improving my recovery after all training sessions.
In particular, I have a desk job during normal office hours and I train in the mornings before work. I have found that by wearing the socks after my morning sessions (all day under my suit pants) my recovery is noticably improved, in that the muscle soreness I used to get is noticably reduced. This is especially so after hard interval/tempo run sessions of 90 minutes I complete before work.
In addition, before I got the socks, I found that my calfs were a little swollen by the end of the day after sitting down at my desk. The socks have made a difference to this. Now my legs are noticably fresher if I want to run home from work/train in the evenings.
After using these for two weeks now I am suitably impressed and have since purchased an additional two pairs.
P.s if you wear these as recovery socks under your clothes, I suggest that you wear normal socks over the top of the compression socks. The compression socks will wear quite quickly if you don't."

Comfortable
Pros: Comfortable, good simple styling
Cons: questionable fit
"These are my first pair of compression socks, so I have nothing to compare them with, but they don't seem to have a great deal of compression force. Perhaps it's because my foot size is at the lower end of range for the size I bought. I got size Large, advertised as 9-11.5. I take 9 in Inov8, 9.5 in Asics and most brands, 10 in Nike Frees. The socks do seem a little large, but there didn't seem much point changing for a Medium at 6-8.5. One sock is at least an inch longer than the other at the top, which is bizarre but doesn't matter. On the plus side, they are comfortable and one can imagine they are helping recovery when wearing the rest of the day after a long run. Haven't worn them to run in yet. Will have to get used to the idea of running in knee-high socks first!"

Very long socks
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"These socks do compress well and are also very long. There is not as much padding as others I have but they still fit well and feel comfortable. How long mine will stay white we will wait and see."

Good buy
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Good Fit
"First time I have bought compression socks on basis of recommendation from running friend. They feel very supportive - quite tight and not easy to take off (but that's probab;y the point of them!) - whether they help my knee problems or not time, will tell but I like them - good price too"

what a difference
"started using these for speed work and track sessions.
What a difference! I always used to get cramp in the calves and since wearing minimalist running shoes had noticed the strain on them.
Used these, and once you get over a few random looks from other people, you really feel a difference.
Have tried a few brands now and these are best, Good price, nice and thin, good elasticity, no blisters!"

Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"Nice quality compression sock with a true to size fit. I am a UK 8.5, the top of the 'medium' size range and find this pefectly tight. Its about 10cm too long (or maybe i'm too short) but the top can easily be folded. They are actually quite thin so perfect to wear under work socks/shoes.
As to whether compression socks work or not, I have only worn them for recovery and train between 15 - 20 hours per week at least 5 of them are running. Maybe its a co-incidence but I feel strangely fresh this week. My training hasn't been any easier, maybe a bit harder if anything. I'm not totally convinced of the benefit yet but will definitely keep wearing them until i'm sure one way or the other."

1000 Mile Compression Sock
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"First time in using compression socks. They feel quite different for the first couple of miles, but after that you forget you have them on. I found they made a difference when running longer distances, they left my legs less tired and aided a quicker recovery afterwards."

good value
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"These socks are reasonably priced, comfy to wear, appear to be well-made and seemed to me at least, to help with recovery from achiles tendonitis. I also wore them all day at T in the Park for reduced leg fatigue. No problems for me with length - I am 5 foot 8. I bought the small size which fit perfectly although I am woman's size 6.5 shoes."

Great Purchase
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit
"I first bought a pair of these socks following a calf injury whilst traing for my 1st half marathon and I haven't looked back since. I was recommended them by another runner who said they would help support my ankles and help me get back to training. They are brilliant and since I started wearing them I have had much less problems with sore ankles and calves."

eXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY!
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"These socks really work! I've tried them during a long race- 6 and a half hour mountain race in hot weather. They were brilliant. I had been suffering with crampy calves all week & bought these to 'shore up' my muscles- they certainly helped me survive the hot & difficult conditions. I have also used them post run & they really do seem to improve things in the leg fatigue department. If you are sceptical, I would recommend them wholeheartedly- esp. after a long run. They don't make your legs too hot either. If you buy them you should note that they are really thin & you might need to wear another pair of socks to stop your foot slipping about in your shoe- depends how tight your shoes are, obviously!"
