Zipp carbon bottle cage

"the cage is ok, not a weave finish but that does not bother me. However the alloy bolts it was meant to come with were steel, not very good. Still waiting replacements, one set came without any bolts. You expect more from the zipp range so this has left me disappointed."

Poor quality

"Purchased 2 White Zipp carbon bottle cages, quality is poor. They so not hold bottles very tight. Both are moulded differently so one is far to loose and you would loose a bottle over a bump. I had read similar reviews but Zipp quality is normally good. Also the carbon is not white but painted and the paint has already rubbed away on first use. They are advertised as 21g but weigh 26g and come with heavy screws. Look elsewhere."

"Well lets face it, we all like a bit of bling, and on our bikes, well you wont get neater than these.
I purchased 2 to go on my White Planet-X self build bike and they finished it off a treat.
Lightweight, durable and robust to the touch with easy handling of any bottle (well any bottle i have anyway!).
Looks great, feels great and OK slightly expensive but what other bling are you going to get for this money....not a lot- go on, splash out on these you wont be disappointed."

"Unable to rate higher as I am waiting for the second cage to arrive before fixing to my frame. That said, closest colour match to my bike (white), almost weightless and bottle fits perfectly in cage. Beauty does come at a price though. My only concern is rumours of carbon cages breaking but only time will tell."

"These cages look the part and are awesome bolted on to your frame. Extremely light and a real show off in the pits. Bottles slide in easy and do not 'twang' as you pull them out. Even after a great deal of use the Zipp cage keeps its shape. My only gripe is its expensive compared to other brands that can offer the same weight saving of 2/3grams. Worth it though!"

"The Zipp Carbon Bottle Cage is lightweight (21gram) and solid. The bottle cage holds the bottle secure. I rode over one of the bumps that make the most bottle cages drop their bottle but the Zipp hold the bottles. Despite the solid grip it's easy to get the bottle in and out during the ride on your bike. Their is one downsite: the screws that are packed with the bottle cages are not that lightweight."
