Heads up
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
"Being an open faced lid rider I've been tempted to buy a FF helmet as I ride quite a few red & black routes.
My biggest fear was investing money into an expensive lid and then discovering that I didn't like an FF for cycling.
I came across this on sale @Wiggle and couldn't resist at the price.
It doesn't feel heavy to me (probably because I ride motorcycles and the helmets are a lot heavier)
Overall fit is good, the ventilation is excellent and vision is very good too. The Strike's padding allows me to wear a pair of sunglasses while wearing the helmet which is another important feature for me.
As others have mentioned the liner cannot be removed, but some of the padding can. As it's only me wearing the helmet this isn't a major issue.
The strap buckle is a well thought out affair, reminding me of many of my motorbike helmets. What I do like are the little press studs to keep the end of the strap tucked away so it doesn't touch your neck.
As an entry level FF helmet made by a reputable manufacturer it is great value for money at under £50. There's only a few left, so grab one while they're still in stock."

Best budget helmet
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
Cons: fragile paintjob
"Very nice and good looking helmet. Forget the 661 Comp, this helmet is worth every penny more. The shape of the helmet is great, the shell is very solid and hard, the vents are handy and the paintjob is lovely. I have this helmet for 1.5 year and it's still as good as new and not a single piece has fallen or ripped off. So the facts are: it's a 1kg or more piece of helmet, but it's almost the same weight as the 661 Evo, the liners aren't removable, (but I don't find that a problem because you can still wash it good with a soapy water in a larger bucket), the peripheral vision is the same as without it, but you are limited on the up and down (as every fullface), and the paintjob is a bit fragile. It's nice and shiney but if you leave it on the gravel upside down it can be easly damaged.
But overall, it's a solid helmet which will probably protect you as same a £200 helmet, without making a big hole in your pocket.
Try before you buy. Should have bought S, but got L."

Great deal
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value
Cons: non-removable lining
"This helmet is a really great deal. I could not find a better helmet for this price.
The only thing I dislike about this helmet is, that you cannot remove the lining inside, only the cheecks are removable.
