Top Hat!
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"*Very comfortable --comes with four choices of padding thickness so seems it really is One-Size-Fits-All. I wore it for a while at home with different combinations to find one that felt best, and I've been able to adjust the chin-strap to sit closer to my chin than near to my neck, so it doesn't pull too tight when looking up or around)
*Great Value --this is not at all expensive, but it's well made, solid and light.
Maybe it's just me, but many of the helmets I tried seemed to sit on top of my head, even though they were the correct size and felt fine (I guess this is the famous 'mushroom' look) This fits snugly onto my head and feels light and comfortable -I've not been too hot in it (I bought the white one) and I've tried it with a thin woollen cap(ready for next winter) -even my teenage daughter thinks I look good in it!

Stylish and comfortable
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"This is the first helmet I've bought and I chose it because of the reasonable price, the "one size fits all" detail and for the unfussy styling. I often judge the success of a cycling purchase on the heckles I get from the kids on my ride to work and so far I've had no sarky remarks about this lid. The design almost looks as though it's been inspired by a World War II German Paratrooper helmet but I like the fact that it looks robust and provides so much coverage to the back of the head as well as the top. The strap is fine for me and my long face and the internal adjustments are done by merely adding more padding (supplied). The only (small) criticism I would have is that there is no way of holding the extra padding on while you try for a better fit so you'll need glue to fix the padding in place once you've decided. In all though, I'm very happy with my gun metal lid, even if I did have to take a few "human cannonball" jokes from my workmates."

Nice Helmet
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Great purchase! It'slight weight, it looks cool, and it does he job at afraction of price compared to many other top branded names.
One added bonus, if i ever take up snow boarding or skateboarding i already have something to protect my ever so fragile brain.
I will definitely buy this brand again."

Top Lid!
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"Really easy to ge a good fit. I use this on the Boris bikes in London so i encounter all sort of weather and drivers! I feel confident that this lid wil give me all the protection i need. I thought it may be bit warm compared to my more traditional cycle helmet but so far it seems just fine. Bargain!!!"

Superb Value
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
"I was looking for a value option that looked ok and chose this. Very happy with it overall. Good idea to have the adjustable pads inside and worse this on a hot day with hill climbs and didn't find it too hot. Overall I would say a great value option."

Great Lid
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Used on my morning commute. Fits great and feels comfortable. Recently mounted a helmet cam on the side without affecting stability either. Comes with various extra padding to get your fit just right."

Good, but tight
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Poor Fit
"Looks good and solid, but it's definitely tight for my head size (which is on the high end of the "supported" interval, but definitely not the limit). Lots of additional fittings for smaller head sizes, though. If you're used to a "normal" bike helmet this one let's much less air pass, and the result is a bit of sweating: I am a super sweater, though, and the sweat it causes to me is totally acceptable, so it should be OK for most cases."

Six SIx One Dirt lid
Cons: Wears Out Easily, Poor Fit
"I have had this helmet for nearly a year now and have used it twice a day five days a week. Initially I was taken in by its looks as I fancied a helmet that was a bit different from your standard cycling helmets. As i'm someone who is in their mid to late 30's the helmet didn't really suit in the looks deparment. A number of colleagues commented on it looking like a WWII German helmet! I wore out the front pad quite quickly and was dismayed after extensive searching that it was impossible to but replacement inner pads. I managed to jerry rig one from the spare different sized side pads that came with the helmet. This, for me, is the biggest down side to this helmet. Unless you are creative then you will need a new helmet once the pads wear out. On a personal note which I do not want to generalise but i found the helmet not to fit my head very well, the inside of the helmet was more circular than previous ones I have owened. Had i tried it in a shop then I wouldn't have bought it. Due to the poor fit, despite being very tight under my chin, I had a nasty crash recently and the helmet just "rolled" and failed to take the impact. I am not availing myself of the crash replacement facility on offer either and instead saving up for a different helmet."

Sixsixone
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"My wife and I have one each.. I opted for this design because of the lower protection at the back. This will give us more protection from lory side mirrors and because we both do a lot of crosscountry work via the local haethlands around here the extra side protection will help us be safer in the event of a tumble. The lid is very good in wet weather with added dirsness being apparent. In hot weather I do get a bit seaty but I find that the padding absorbes most of this. The lid is very comfortable and easily carried around by hand or stores neatly in my pannier bags.
Good stuff."

SixSixOne Cycling helmet
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Very pleased with this product. A rugged style with a better fit via the adjustable inserts than other helmets I've worn. At first the catch can be a little fiddly to open but to be fair this is probably more to do with my fat fingers and I am getting more used to this each day. The limited colour choices didn't bother me as I only wanted a dark colour.
Recommended."

Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Perfectly nice helmet. Looks quite cool. Chinstrap tends to loosen so needs regular adjustment. Removable internal pads made it easy to get a snug fit. Haven't tried many other helmets so it's difficult to make a fair comparison."

Good value for money.
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged
Cons: Unattractive, Bulky, straps loosen easily
"Bought this helmet so that i had a more durable, cheaper helmet to use for pub runs, shopping, bike polo etc. where I had to lock my helemt up or carry around.
Is durable and comfortable, find that the straps lose adjustment every time I take it off and they are fiddly to set correctly.
Tape or a few stitches would probably fix this but I sometimes wear a beanie which requires strap adjustment.
Also find this a little bulky and "mushroomy". It is also a lot cheaper than any equivalent out there and despite it's flaws mine gets regular use.
Great buy if it's for a second helmet but if you're after any everyday helmet or dirt jumper spend a little extra on something with better straps."

Excellent lid
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: a little hot
"Excellent delivery from Wiggle to begin with. The helmet was a perfect fit straight out the box with no adjustment needed. Loooks good and feels very comfortable.
The only down side is there isn't a huge amount of air flow through the helmet so it does get a bit sweaty on a hard ride, otherwise a great bit of kit.

Looks neat - even on a 50 year old !
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I wanted a helmet which offered good protection, ventilation and comfortable fit and this one offered the lot. I would have been happy to have paid more but this one is great value.
I didn't have the opportunity to try one before buying so I relied upon the removable pads which claimed to allow the user to obtain a good fit whilst being easily removable for washing and they work.
I always disliked the look of the standard style of bike helmet - come on they look daft on everyone ! but this one, I think looks pretty smart.
I tried on a 'kracken' model during my search and it was probably a little more comfortable so have a look at them but this 661 is half the price and 95% as comfortable for me.
I really rate this one folks and its certainly worth trying.

good buy
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: can't be readjusted
"purchased this helmet some time ago now, prefer to review after using for time. the helmet is very good, solid, fits very well, and can be adjusted using felt inserts of different thickness. the only thing to be aware of, is that if you wear a cap under you helmet, and size it accordingly, if you decide it is too hot, and remove it, you cannot resize, unlesss you are carrying spare inserts, other than that, a very good purchase."

Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Great Value
Cons: rivets starting to rust, stronger pad hold
"Worked well when bounced on the rocks in the river and did not pull when hit by a wave. Surfing head forward into wave little impact. Perfect for both. Rivets starting to rust and lost front pad and velcro pins cut into my forhead until I could replace. Excellent value."
