Better than washing up liquid!
Pros: Great Value
"I've always used washing up liquid prior to purchasing this - I know that's supposedly a cardinal sin, but always found you couldn't beat it for generating a good soapy lather.
What I liked most about this Lifeline Bike Wash that it lathers as much as washing up liquid, but is in theory less harmful to the bike frame. Also, the Bike Wash leaves an extra gleam/shine on the bike frame which I hadn't achieved when washing the bike previously.
You'll still need degreaser on the chain, chain-stay, cassette and chain-rings though."

Cleaner but not a degrease
"Think of this as a shampoo rather than a de-greaser 'cos you will need something much stronger to shift chain grease.
If you sponge it all over after a thorough de-grease, then rinse off and dry it leaves a lovelly - almost polished - look to the bike."

"I like this! Having used washing up liquid in the past (YES - its a sin), this is brilliant. It foams well and gets the bike lovely and clean, then with a quick rub down with a dry cloth - it brings the bike up a treat (and no I did not rinse the bike after...wash, dry, no rinse!)
You spend £1k-£5k on a bike - may as well spend the few quid on this to keep your bike in the best condition!"

"This stuff is great - it removed all the winter muck and more from chain and cogs and with a chain cleaner it is so simple to use. even used for cleaning my hands afterwards :-)"

Environmentally friendly, works!

"This is almost completely bio-degradable, great at dissolving muck and grease, but doesn't feel harsh, and has a pleasant smell. Good price, does what it says on the tin."
