"以前、wiggleでシングルスピードにバイクを購入しました。フレームにはボトルゲージを取り付ける穴がなく、サドルにシングルのボトルゲージを取り付けていました。最近、シングルスピードのバイクで輪行しようと思いたち、今回購入しましたダブルのボトルゲージに、ボトルと輪行バッグをそれぞれセットしています。余計な荷物を背中にしょわなくてもよく、荷物から解放されました。1泊の輪行であれば輪行袋が結構邪魔になりそうですが、ボトルゲージに入れてしまうと他の荷物はサコッシュにいれても十分です。お手軽な1泊の輪行にはとても役に立っています。"

Great After Sales Service

"When my rear-mount carrier snapped, (which they're probably going to do occasionally as you are inserting/removing bidons more by feel than by sight) I emailed the makers. Given the geography - I'm in Australia, Profile Design is a USA business - they asked for photos rather than returning the broken item. A week or so later I had a replacement, no charge to me and no further questions asked.

"This is solidly built, and does exactly what it says it does. Have had no issue with bottles dislodging over bumps on my rather stiff tt bike. Takes a bit of practice to use on the go whilst pedalling, but worth the effort..
-Also comes with two CO2 cartridge holders for screw in cartridges!
-IMHO profile cages are probably the best I've used, due to rugged construction and flexibility. I use them on the downtube of my tt bike and as both cages on my roadie as well.
-costly but I can't see myself having to buy another at any point in the future. Essential for hydration on ironman training rides"

"Rattled apart at the elbow on my first ride, even though it was exceptionally tight to begin. A friend also had one which did the same at the attachment to the seat rails.
This item has become a running joke within my training group."

"This is a quality part.
The fit is great, as well as adjustable.
Make sure you use a torque wrench to avoid snapping the bolts with full bottles on a rough road.
I replaced the cages with carbon Token. This dropped the weight and makes it look even better.
It also comes with 2 CO2 mounts for a total of 4. Nice feature, highly recommend."

"This is a well priced item, and I took the chance after reading it had snapped for someone else. After about 4 months of use the allen bolts sheared and left me with another 70km to ride with the thing up my top!. Easy fix, but pain out on the road."

"The profile rear cage system is ok. It did me alright in the recent Swiss ironman 2011.However, I would not use this system on uk roads which are full of pot holes. The assembly is straight forward."

Disappointing

"I'd read a lot of reviews on this and noted the comments about screws breaking or bottles dropping out, but I also saw the positive comments. In principle it's a great product, and I thought that using standard 600ml bottles and avoiding bumpy roads would help. The bike was in for a service so I got the mechanic to fit it as well.
However, three hours into the first outing, going down a hill, I heard a couple of bangs and looked back to see my bottles following me... the screw had loosened, the cages dropped and out fell the bottles.
I can't help feeling that an extra support, perhaps connected to the saddle stem, would take off a lot of the pressure. Shame I threw away my childhood Mecano set.
I won't use it again, but need something to carry two extra bottles for long races - may consider a belt instead."

I did the Zurich Ironman a couple of weeks back - silky smooth roads - and I saw another one of these bottle cage systems lying in the road quite early into the cycle, so some poor person would have lost their bike nutrition early into the ride...
In my opinion it is just not up to the job.

"Another broken screws story.... I have replaced the screws on several different occasions and they continue to break. I have to ensure I put in new screws prior to every race. Admittedly I do ride with 2x750 mL bottles, but sorry Profile - Love the rest of your stuff, but don't buy this."
