sensational saddle

"This is a great saddle. Everyone knows that saddle choice is a very individual one. I have tried them all from the very popular Fizik range to the ergonomic adamo's.
This saddle get's my vote. Like shoe's its only good if its the right one for you. The max flight gel is super comfy for long rides (200k +) but firm enough for a good response when you want to put the power down. Most important for me was the cut out section which prevent's any undue pressure in area's that you need blood to flow!
I have recommended this saddle to many of my club mates and at this price what have you got to lose."

"I wanted a comfortable saddle to replace the stock one that came with my new bike. I was a little anxious that this would turn out to be a big girls saddle and actually not turn out to be too good on really long rides. In fact it is great! Since riding 30 miles first time out I have had absolutely no discomfort, numbness, chafing at all. It is quite expensive (although £10 cheaper than the standard Flight Gel Flow) but it is a price well worth paying.

Good saddle for my butt type at least...

"No complaints here. Saddles are quite particular to the individual of course, but luckily this one seems to work for me. My first ride on it was an 80 miler. This saddle was invisible for the first 60, I didn't notice it until then. But in all fairness this was my first ride this season longer than 40 miles and the saddle is not broken yet. Everyone else's reviews state that you have to break it in and it gets better so I'm sure it'll be perfect after a few more rides.
I am 5'9" 175 pounds."

"I was having problems with having a numb bum after just 15miles on my existing saddle that came with my trek 1.2 alpha.
I swapped this onto the bike one week before i did a sprint triathlon. The results were instant no more numb bum so far, but to be far ive only done 25 miles on it so far in one go. However it is already better than my existing seat."

"have only used for 1 ride so far but what a difference. I ride a Ribble Nero XC which came with a standard but good quality saddle, which I rode for 18 months.
I only switched becasue I wanted a saddle with the gap in the middle to take the pressure of the nerve which you inevitably sit on when you are in the saddle for long periods.
Did a great job of taking the pressure off and I've also been really pleased with how comfortable it is without having to trade any performance."

"I have had Selle saddles on a number of occasions and this one is no different to the others i`ve had.In as much as it`s superbly comfortable !! The suspension idea is a good one but personally i didn`t really notice the benefit that much.Having said that it still gave me no problems in the seating department on it`s 1st 70 mile sportive on the tour of the weald.The cut out is a nice size and no pressure was felt on the old crown jewels !!! All in all another reliable,comfortable and above all,quality product from the Selle Italia stable.Highly recommended."

"After much research I finally took the plung and went for the often recommended GelFlow. Pleased I did. Previously anything longer than 50 miles would leave me in serious discomfort. The hole in the saddle works a treat to relieve pressure just where you don't want it and the relavitvely broad back provides good support where it is needed. It looks and feels like it will last well, and the general softness / springyness of the saddle helps lessen the terrible british roads. Not cheap... but worth it. would definately recommend.
If you are having problems with saddle soreness I'd also recommend using some cream... and don't make the beginners mistake that I did... leave the underpants off!!"

I researched a lot of saddles and looked at all the reviews. I got it from Wiggle in 2 days and already had a 140k weekend on it on Box Hill. Very comfortable and my pain is gone.

"There are many disadvantages to getting old - and one of them is that it becomes more difficult to find a comfortable seat. This is a good one. The frame is strong, and it has plenty of adjustment. I don't really notice the gel - and that is maybe a good thing."

comfort and style plus!

"Being a long time Selle Italia user, I have evolved through the Turbos, up to the Turbomatic 4, which sadly isn't in production anymore.. I have been using some stop gap saddles,which were okay, but not IT.. this saddles recommended to me by a old friend, who swore by them.. Good enough for me!
First ride was a getting used to it one, even though you set the darn thing up as best as possible, one always takes a cupel of allen keys with them, and yes, I did have to fiddle with the fore and aft somewhat.. the rails are a bit short so I thought it might be a issue getting the saddle far back enough for me, but the way the saddle is designed I need not of worried, I had plenty of room.
it is a different feeling getting used to a saddle with a cut out in the middle and your sit bones really getting a work out, but second ride, I actually forgot about that, the saddle seemed so much better.. I've done around 600k on it since and it has gone from strength to strength , I reckon it's a all day saddle now.. Value is excellent with Selle Italia quality.. Highly recommended!"
