Engineering perfection!
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"Love Hope stuff and their bottom bracket is no exception. Its very well made and great quality. Crank now feels silky smooth on the stainless steel bearings and the cup colour, mine are blue now match my hope front and rear hubs.
If you are fed up with continuously replacing grit filled seized bottom bracket bearings then go and fit one of these. Bearings are replaceable so when they do eventually get worn out then refurbishment will be simple and swift.
Fitting the bottom bracket was very easy and the quality of the machined threads screwed perfectly into my bottom bracket shell. Comes with o rings so will fit 68 and 73 shells. Would recommend this.
Hope customer service are also 100% and great how to fit video's on their web site to show you how to put on their parts.

Hope BB.
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile, customer support
"I found the Hope BB (Stainless) excellent value and top Northern engineering quality that you'd expect from those awesome people in the wrong side of the Pennines !!! I've never fit a BB before never mind a Hope one. So I thought I'd treat myself to one. The instructions that came with the BB were very clear but I instead used the workshop videos via the HOPE website. I'd recommend viewing these as they are very well produced and the technician isn't one of these Tw#ts that you so often get doing these sorts of things. Excellent top class stuff form Hope - from the quality of the product to the fantastic customer support via the website. PS. I've phoned Hope before about their brakes and the phone support is the best I've ever had anywhere. A Yorkshire bloke is very happy with Lancashire things !!!!"

Highest tech out there
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"Hope have cracked how to make a good bottom bracket.
They have two technical advantages:
1: the bearing is custom, so no plastic shim, and larger bearing.
2: the thing is waterproof
So stronger BBs held is a waterproof design.
Hope have won on this design."

Pros: Attractive, Durable
"Since i bought my bike, i think i must have been through 3 or 4 bottom brackets, and thats within a year. I was sick and tired of them breaking all the time. Previously, it was cheap Truvativ b/bs and they just broke.
So, i decided to spend a little extra and got this and IT'S DEFINATELY WORTH IT. This is a fantastic b/b, I will update this review after a hard winters riding but so far, this is an ultimate holdfast component. Definately worth the buy.
[Bear in mind if you have a truvativ cranset that you also need the adapter spacers, but they are only a tenner.]

Another Top Quality Hope Product
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"I bought the Stainless Steel Hope BB to replace a Truvativ GXP BB which gave up on me after about six months. The Hope one has been fitted for over a year now and has had hard use in multiple enduro and 24hr events, some of which were muddy as. The BB has been submerged in river and bog crossings, been subjected to -5deg to +45 deg heat and still runs sweet and smooth. Remember the GXP shim which needs to be fitted to the drive side bearing if you want to continue to run Truvativ cranks. Hope make this shim also so no dramas there. It is perhaps a bit more expensive than others available, but this is yet another great Hope product and to be honest, I don't think I would buy another brand for BB after this one - it really is that good. Period."

Gran calidad
Pros: Duradero, Atractivo, Alta calidad, Resistente, Buen ajuste
Cons: Caro
"Cansado de que el eje original (Truvativ) se me estropease cada poco tiempo me he gastado el triple de dinero en estos Hope que espero me duren más del triple. Además se puede reponer cada uno de sus componentes no como los Truvativ que no había manera de encontrar rodamientos de esas medidas."

Great quality
Pros: Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight
"I've only had this fitted for a month or so, but based on my experience with the hope hubs, I bought this as a fit and mostly forget item. Was fed up of the Shimano ones wearing out every year or so. I'm confident it'll last for aaages, and when it starts wearing out, I'll replace the bearings and it'll continue on . . .
Fitted it myself (following the Hope instructional video on youtube) and it was very simple."

Super quality
"This is beautifully made and so easy to fit. Having a choice of colours adds a little bling to the bike. Had it on for a while now and not a murmur from it. Way better than the original Shimano bottom bracket."

Hope BB
Pros: High Quality, Good Fit
"Bought this because wanted something that was going to last and could replace bearings. The Shimano XT BB I had previously developed quite a bit of play after 5200 miles, this was with 99% road use + bike looked after. Done about 200 miles on Hope BB at moment - very smooth, one or 2 clicks from it and clears quickly, nothing to be concerned about. May need adjustment on crank arm. Overall would recommend on Hope reputation."

Lasts very well
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight
"I have had one of these on my hack bike for FOUR YEARS. It gets ridden HARD around twice a week all year round.
The bearings are still PERFECT, you can still spin the crank with your little finger and it will keep going.
The difference is that Hope do not use plastic spacers and do use real bearings rather than bearing-shaped objects."

easy to fit - great Hope quality
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Early days so far - got this as replacement for Shimano XT BB which to be fair lasted around 4 years of hard but infrequent riding. Have other Hope components which have maintained performance over time so am hoping for the same with the BB."

A new Hope
Pros: Durable
"Ordered as a replacement for the old shimano external BB which only lasted a winter and 2500 miles.
Hopefully, the quality and robustness of Hope products will ensure this outlasts it's replacement, and cost less in the long run, as external BBs don't tend to last that long for me.
Fitting was easy with the right tools, although the chainline was slightly different to the old product, requiring a slight tweak of the front mech."

Excellent SRAM alternative with GXP inserts
Pros: Durable, Rugged, High Quality, Versatile
"I have been using this with the gxp converter inserts for the past year on SRAM chainsets including my Quarq powermeter. Great alternative to the SRAM bottom bracket as the one I had only lasted a couple of months.
After a year of use it has needed the bearings replacing which was a 5 minute job.
Great example of British Engineering."

Good, reliable product
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged
"Has lasted much longer than my original XTR bottom bracket. Was going to purchase the Hope ceramic version or a Chris King but thought I would take a gamble on the 'cheaper' option.
Still running smoothly after 18 months and bearings are replaceable so it should be cheap to keep running for years to come.

Great Product
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Light, robust, (relatively) easy to install. Only thing to bear in mind is to pull it out and re-grease regularly if you're putting Aluminium in contact with steel"

Great Product
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Good Fit
"I have had two of these on bikes for over 2 years, out twice a week in all weathers, lasted far better than the Raceface BB's they replaced (4 months and 6 months), this one is going on my wife's bike...."

A beauty of a bracket
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable
"Easy to fit with a Hollowtech II tool. One thing to note is that there is a bit of a copy-paste error in the instructions. It says to "fit spacers as needed (see below)" but there's no diagram "below" as there is on the mountain bike brackets. The solution is to fit all the spacers (one on each side)."
