Fabulous bit of kit
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Great Value, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: calibration needed
"I had no idea that this existed- despite having an ipod and the appropriate shoe for it! How did I miss this for all this time?
Fabulous bit of kit that has changed my running completely. I now have something to compete with every time I go out, even if it is myself. You also get to put on your 'power song' when you need a push- Fat Bottomed Girls has never been more appropriate!
Just make sure you have a 1.25 mile (or less) route you can calibrate it on. Otherwise it will always be slightly out. Not great for me as I live in a very hilly area and I can't find a 1.25 mile route that is an average of all my running- not sure it would calibrate well on the flat if you then run on the hills.
Overall a fabulous piece of kit at a brilliant price."

Want to be motivated ?
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"Does exactly what it says on the box. Fits snuggly into the well of the Nike trainer, you don't know it's there. The receiver isn't even needed if you have the latest iphone or itouch.
Gets you out there clocking those miles and as well as the instant feedback, once home, connected to the computer you can see a full record of all your training and all your runs.
Downloadable coaching with music means you get to take your own personal trainer out with you. Some problems have been reported with sending data to facebook and twitter but I found that all that is needed is to set your browser to compatibility mode and all works as it should.
Seems a little expensive for such a small widget that uses a mathematical formula invented in 1940's - but then again what would you pay on an hourly basis for a personal trainer?"

Good basic measure of distance
Pros: Great Value
"over the last 18mths I have been using a Garmin for my training, prior to purchasing one of them I used this item. Reasonable accuracy, I usually found that it would be accurate +/- 200-300m per 10km. So if you are after a cheap way of measuring your distance covered, then this can help. I certainly found that it lost its accuracy with hills (up or down) as you calibrate it on the flat."

great for beginning
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Not Enough Features
"this a perfect pedometer for beginnig runners. I used this about three years.
the sensor is better calibre it for each running exercise (long distance, series, etc.)
average accurate aceptable (50m - 100m up-down aprox for 10k distances).
bad accurate for non nike shoes."

Great Gadget
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"This is a fantastic gadget and a great way to keep track of your training, especially distance and speed. I have noticed it seems to use quite a lot of my ipod's battery power therefore its a good idea to make sure its fully charged before you go."

Great piece of kit
Pros: High Quality
Cons: website upload problems are very common
"The kit itself is excellent, but the nike+ website is full of disappointed customers who cannot upload their data, me included. If you are looking for something to track your progress during your run and are not bothered about using the online features then get it. But if like me you got it solely to be able to track your progress online then don't bother until they sort the website out, if they ever do."

Simple training friend
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality
"I bought this after my wife started running. Whenever she came back she wondered how far the run was and only really went with gut instinct of if she was improving. So this fits the bill perfectly. Her shoes were compatible and we had a nano so the basics were set. As with most things Apple set up is simple and it does the job we wanted it to do."

Nike + iPod Sensor
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Lightweight
"Item did fit into a set of my running shoes without any problems. Instalation and calibration was straight forward, although sensor is usually about 20 % off the actual distance. Several calibrations later I did not achive better accuraccy. However, work up history and voice command suits me very well during my run. Also, I love the Power Song function, which alows you to select your preset favourite music file when you feel a little bit low on energy to boost your performance. It does work. I wish there was a HRM included. I'd certainly be happy to pay extra for that."

Best thing!
"As I wrote in my review of the sportsband, I have gained so much motivation from using Nike+ stuff! I've got 2 pairs of lunarglides 2+ and a pair of nike air max 2010+ , the sportsband AND this for my new ipod nano and run and walk much farther then I normally would as I now can keep complete track of the distance. It is great to be able to monitor your speed, distance, calories etc.
I found the nano thing is a bit more reliable then the sportsband so far however since you can calibrate them both, you are bound to eventually have fairly accurate readings. I have just found the thing I use with my nano to be slightly more accurate out of the box.
Love this love this love this!"

A good motivator
Pros: Great Value
"This is a fantastic tool for motivation. I had it in combination with my iPod Nano but sadly recently went running in the pouring rain after which the iPod died and never woke up. I miss the ability to use the running sensor more than the music!"

Pretty good unless you have a decent phone!
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Lightweight
Cons: Unadjustable, Not Enough Features, Bulky, Poor Fit, Limited Color Choices, is only meant to work with nike shoes, can be inaccurate
"The only reason I bought this was if I go running where I cant get a signal on my Iphone. If you have an Iphone download a running application. They are even available on oother phones. This item is difficult to calibrate (unless you have a set 400m running track) but I find that its not as accurate as my other two devices. For the money, if you dont want to spend out on expensive gps devices then go ahead, other than that, I wouldnt buy another one."

awesome
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, feature packed
"this was recommended to me by a guy at my gym, i have to say he was wrong about it, he said its good, its better than that its absolutely awesome. i did my first run using it then took it to 3 gym to calibrate it. that turned out to be a little pointless as it was only 1 meter out in a kilometre. controls your music as well as your stats and uploads automatically to the nike web site. brilliant."
