mountain runner bottle and holder
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices, not dishwasher safe
"if your into hill running or minimalist hillwalking then this is a great bottle and holder for you.
its limited if your out in the streets or trail running because its more suited to being attached to a bag or rucksack but has its place in the area its made for.
recommended for those that are stating to take small runs up mountains or hills where you are taking waterproofs in a rucksack but for anythin longer than 10km id suggest inov-8s rucksack with their additional water carrier included.
dont let anyone put the bottle in the dishwasher or the spout will never work again."

So close to excellent.
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: bottle too stiff.
"I rate this as more user friendly and convenient overall than the specific bladder for my inov8 bag. Holder, magic. No probs at all (for those who said it it was difficult to get the bottle in and out - Get a life or a set of dumbells!). My only gripe is the excellent bottle is to rigid. Great shape and features, but not as squeezy as I like my bottles. I now use my 500ml Nuun hydration bottle in the holder and hey presto, perfection!"

moving moving
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: unstability
"According to this tittle i'm very disappointed by the stability of this holder. When the bottle is full, it's move from right to left and the scratch system is difficult to adjust"

Inov-8 Bottle & Holder
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable
"The only draw backs with this item is that the bottle lid is not attached to the bottle & the elastic strap which helps to hold the bottle in the holder can be difficult to fasten back up when your running."

Great Addition
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight
"Works well on the inov 8 race pro 20 rucksack. I have run a couple of off road 15+milers with it attached. Its very accessible, wobbles about a tiny bit, i expected it to be a lot worse actually, but no, i highly recommend it, much preferable than a bladder as you can see how much you've got left and so much easier to keep clean. Soon forget it was there on a long run."

Great idea, proved useful
Pros: Great Value, Rugged, Lightweight
Cons: little fiddly to insert the bottle back in
"Great way to carry another half a litre when travelling light - I used it to carry additional drink when doing the Welsh 3000s in the summer as my rucksack was pretty minimal!
Bottle has rubber sides, which help keep hold easily.
Holder doesn't really get in the way as it's position can be adjusted using the velcro fitting straps.
Easy to get the bottle out - but proved a little more awkward putting the bottle back in as the top of the holder is a little too snug. Great therefore at stopping the bottle coming out when running, but requires a short stop to put the bottle back when finished."

Handy bottle holder
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Deceided that I wanted to carry a water bottle rather than use a bladder for this years RAB mountain marathon. Looked around and decided that this Inov8 bottle carrier option was the one to buy. It was good value, well made and easy to use. I did not find it difficult to or a fiddle to remove/replace the bottle and the elasticated straps. These were ideal at holding the bottle in place.
The velcro fastenings for the backpack were easy to use and allowed for a secure and adjustable fitting.
Very pleased with this purchase, so much so I bought my brother in law one.

Novel option to carry more fluids
Pros: Versatile
Cons: Poor Fit, exposed velcro hook can damage clothing
"Bought one of these to go with my Inov-8 Pro Race 12. Ended up carrying more fluid than actually needed as the 2L bladder lasts pretty well. The bottle is a great idea if you need extra or want to carry different fluids (i.e. water and separate electrolyte drink), but I found the bottle swings about quite a bit on the harness and the Velcro connecting system trashed my run shirt (3 hrs of wear from exposed Velcro hooks). Not really sure why Inov-8 put the yellow bungee cord on it either as it was largely defunct since the built in tubing stitched into the neck of the pouch held the bottle extremely securely. Not a bad idea, but I found that 2L for a 3.5hrs Mountain Run was ample."

Decent bottle, shame about the holder
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Lightweight
Cons: poor design
"I bought two of these as an add on to my Karrimor X-race pack. Attaching them is a bit fiddly but once they one they are very secure. The advertising blurb say they can be used for walking and running - not without a fight they can't. Takes both hands to get them out the holder and three hands to get them back in, neither of which is satisfactory in the middle of an ultra marathon. Actual quality of the bottle and holder is superb, weight-watchers can ditch the hi viz elastic, nothing will shake that bottle out of the holder. Might try them with Raidlight smart straw tops if they fit and see how that goes. For now though I'm already looking at a pair of Raidlight bottle holders"

Bottle holder doesn't measure up for running.
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Unadjustable, difficult to use
"This bottle holder is meant to attach to the shoulder straps of the Inov-8 Pro series packs. The actual bottle is a good quality black bottle with a comfortable curved, rubberized grip. But it's difficult to get the bottle into and out of the holder, even when you are not running or walking. It also feels large and awkward on your shoulder strap when running because it gets in the way of swinging arms. I might use this for hiking but probably not for running. Have not tried it on a bike yet.
I love Inov-8 packs, and I wish this bottle holder worked better, but at the very least it's a decent bottle."
