Fantastic
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
"After using a 160mm rotor for years this 203mm rotor seems incredibly sharp I simply cant beleave what I was missing and it doesnt stick while holding back a load like my old one! I would gladly recomend this to anyone as an upgrade alternative to hydraulics Its as smooth and powerfull as anyone would ever need a brake!"

Good Value
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Good Fit
"This brake fitted onto my Dawes Discovery with no problems at all. When you are two up on a tandem and going downhill this brake gives you the confidence you need even in the wet."

Competant Stoppers
Pros: Adjustable, Durable
"There's a lot of hype surrounding thses brakes, with many saying that they are just as good as hydros.
Personaly, i haven't found this to be so, but i do feel my set up was a little....rushed. They can be a pain to set up, but the piston adjusters on either side make fine-tune-fettling possible.
I bought them for a jump bike build, as i had fears of splitting hydro hoses; they work well for this, as i'm sure they would on an XC bike.
From personal experience I would recommend them for a budget build, or an upgrade from v's; but if you already have discs, i'd look at hydros."

Brilliant cable disc brake.
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Delivered in very well designed box. All fixings were included. Was very suprised to even find both front and rear brackets were supplied. The caliper is very well made and feels very efficient and powerfull. Well done Avid for a perfect alternative to hydraulics."
