Pros: High Quality, Rugged
"This case is well built and has room to store all the charging cables, plug, chest strap and the Edge 500. It is robust and protects the contents well.
Has ventilation holes which allows strap etc to dry.
Only thing I'd change is that it would be good if it had an integral padded pouch/pocket for storing the GPS.
I'm glad I bought this as it keeps everything safe and in one place.

Waste of Money!
Pros: High Quality
Cons: Not Enough Features, Poor Fit, not fit for purpose
"I have generally kept my Garmin 705, HR strap, mains charger and PC cord in the original box. This is now becoming rather battered and, having scratched the screen on the 705 already, I was ready to purchase a suitable purpose made carrying case. Alas this is not it! The carrying case is too small for the 705 unit, HR strap, mains charger (UK version so protruding pins) and PC cord. The 705 unit ends up either rolling around on its own with every else rammed in one side of the case, or ends up rubbing against the metal edges of the mains or PC cords. This defeats the point of this product. Think again Garmin! You could do much better than this!"

Not a wise buy
Cons: Bulky, Poor Fit
"Far too big for just the Garmin 705 on it's own. You'll be better off hitting the camera shops and buying a digital camera case if you want a case for just the 705."

Big old case to protect your riding pal!
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Good Fit, vent holes
Cons: Expensive, Bulky
"I am the sort of person who likes a case or cover for just about everything. I got this case to protect my edge 705 and the accessories. I got a surprise when I saw the size of it! Ooh err missus! I imagined it would be the size of a spectacle case but is more than double this. It has to be to get the heart monitor in there. They even put vent holes in the top of the case to help your HM dry off after use! his case also means I can always lay my hands on the small USB lead it uses to upload data onto tinterweb, as well as to charge the battery. I am pleased I bought it all considered."

Cons: Not Enough Features, Poor Fit
"I thought this carrying case would hold thight on my Garmin Edge 705, but unfortunately my Edge (same for a Forerunner watch), can just slide around inside the box, this product is no better than any sealed container woth a bit of protection on the walls."

keeps everything together
"what can I say. it is a place to keep all the garmin kit. the advantage is it has holes which allow the unit to dry out - mainly the HRM strap."

Garmin all tucked up!
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, Not Enough Features
"Being a brand follower for my sins I bought this for my GARMIN Edge to store it as what I had intended to use was to small. This arrived and it was much bigger than I expected. It fits the Edge, the HR stap, charger and lead in both halves.
Doesnt quite get 5 stars as I'd liked it if it had a zip pocket inside rather than just the mesh pannels, but worthwile purchase all the same."

Garmin Box
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Expensive
"It does it's job well and is great quality, as would be expected from Garmin, the only issue is the value. Is it really worth the outlay for a totally generic product which is totally unspecific to all of their products? As I said, it does it's job though, you can make your own mind up about value."

Good to keep it all in one place.
Pros: Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"I bought my Garmin edge 305 and then needed something to keep all the accessories in one place. If I didn't buy something like this I would end up loosing leads and so on.
The case is big enough to hold the GPS unit, usb leads and heart rate monitor. It has holes in the case to allow the Gps unit to breathe. I found them handy to the effect that I could come back, rinse the mud off the GPS and it would dry in the ventilated case.
You could make some make shift holder but when you pay so much for a GPS unit why not treat it to a nice storage case!"

Not a carry case for edge
Cons: Bulky, Low Quality, Poor Fit
"Having purchase an Edge 605 I wanted a protective care for when the Garmin is not on the bike. Looked at this case and as it says it is for the Edge series I though, excellent, so bought one . When it arrived I reliased the size. It's about twice the lenght and 3 to 4 times the height to the Egde, so the Garmin bangs around inside- its tottaly useless. Also there are holes in the case with metal surrounds that would damaged the Garmin. Totally useless..........."

Does exactly what it says on the tin
Pros: Attractive, Durable, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Expensive
"Good quality and nice looking carry case. However,if you are value conscious a cheaper unbranded version would no doubt do a similar job. Also for what you pay for your GPRS handset you might expect something similar to this for free!"
