Great addition
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
Cons: strap length
"This makes it easy to transfer the 305 from your handlebars to your wrist which has many benefits. For those training for duathlon/triathlon it is a great piece of kit, although the quick release takes a couple of practices to perfect, the transfer from bike to wrist is seconds. If you wanted to you can wear the strap throughout the swim with no problems.
The pin extractor is easy to use and it comes with 4 pins as spares in case you are clumsy and lose one. The plastic handlebar mount is strong and gives you confidence that it will last a long time.
I have a wrist size of 7 inches/18mm and the strap fits nicely. If there is a downside it is the strap, which, like all other forerunners is very stiff so if your wrist is bigger than mine is would be hard to get a 'nice' fit as the length could do with being about half and inch or more longer. I struggle to wear it over a winter long sleeve jersey as it is very tight.
Overall I am very happy with this and anyone buying it should not be disappointed."

does what it says on the box
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile
Cons: it fixes with cable ties
"i remember that another reviewer said that he found the mount unreliable: it has not been the case for me - perhaps he had an older model or simply the strap pins he was using were knackered. i'm doing a triathlon soon and i'll definitely be putting my trust in this mount. i should say that i have only tried mounting it on my road bike but it seems sturdy enough to me to stick to a mountain bike without any problems.
only tiny problem for some people might be that it uses cable ties: this means you can't move it around easily, from one bike to another for example."

Great product
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
"Significantly enhanced my usage of my Forerunner 305 GPS. More comfortable than the original strap and I like the strong connection that gives me confidence it would never pop off my wrist or bike during a race. Highly recommended."

Better than the original strap
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I got this not for the bike attachment but more for the strap.
The orignal strap is the traditional watch-style with the pin and holes. I accidently put my on too tight and when removing I pulled the pin right out.
So really by accident I had to buy this but I am very impressed with the velcro strap. It's easier to put on and feels more secure. It also doesn't get as sweaty with the velcro and fabric like the orignal rubber."

Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Better solution than the original. The fit is better on the wrist and easily snaps in and out when changing to the bike holder."

So worth it
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Good Fit
"Ridiculously easy to attach, secure, easy to switch watch between handle bars and wrist and having the readout in front of you while your cycling, instead of trying to look at you wrist every now and then, make this a definite purchase for me!"

Cons: Expensive
"It's not quite clear in the photos - the velcro strap is solely for wrist wear. The other plastic hemisphere bit is cable tied onto your handle bars. Then you transfer the unit between the clip on the velcro strap and the hemisphere clip. THe handlebar mount works well, giving a lower profile than e.g. strapping the watch around pipe lagging (which also works well).
The handlebar clip works on oversize, 31mm dia, handlebars. Not sure I'd trust the handlebar clip if I was doing insane offroad.

Just what I wanted
Pros: Comfortable, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I bought this on the advice of my brother who has one but he uses his for both running and on his bike. I just wanted a better strap for my Garmin Forerunner. The one that comes with the watch never fitted properly and I was always messing with it when running. This is perfect as it fastens with velcro and so does not flap about and there is nothing to come loose. Only minor gripe is that the watch has to be removed from the strap to charge it up or download the info - no hardship really."

Great way to use your Garmin 305 HRM
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Cycling with my Garmin on my wrist was a nightmare. I really need reading glasses to see the display but now the display is steady on my handlebars I can use the navigation features for cyclosportives with no trouble at all.
Swapping from the running wrist strap to bike mount is easy once you get the knack.
The range of velcro adjustment of the wrist strap also makes wearing over clothing easier than adjusting the watch like strap supplied with your Garmin.
The tool provided to extract your Garmin from the original strap is simple to use.

Does exactly what it says on the tin
Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable, easy to use
Cons: Expensive
"Excellent product! Easy to fit, comfortable and the click system to move the garmin from run to bike and vice versa is really slick. Overall, exactly what I hoped it would be. Would have given 5 stars but at nearly £20 for some bits of plastic and velcro (albeit well designed plastic and velcro) it sticks in the throat a bit."

Great product!!!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"For a runner with a mileage and Garmin addiction, trying a bit of cycling this is a perfect solution (rather than buying another Garmin for the bike)...
Simply to change the strap, which is better than the original Garmin 305 one and easy to fix on the bike. Quite simply brilliant value."

garmin 305 mount
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Good Fit
"Good product, does exaclty what it says, no fuss. I find the velcro strap a lot more comfortable and easier to use when on my wrist too. Durability of the pins yet to be proved, though there are spares with the kit."
