Very hit and miss
Pros: brackets can be bought sperately
Cons: unreliable
"I bought this unit because the brackets used to attach it to the bike can be bought separately. I've got three bikes and wanted to use the same unit with all three bikes.
Unfortunately, this unit seems to be badly affected by overhead cabling which interferes with the HRM, causing it to pause.
For some strange reason the cycling computer also shuts down i.e. the speed reading drops to zero. When the HRM unit starts working again, it takes several seconds to register the correct speed. For example, it shows 3mph for a few seconds, then 8mph, then 12mph. Eventually it gets back to showing the correct speed, only for the HRM unit to shut down again. At the end of the ride you've no real idea how far you've ridden, what your average speed was, nor how long you spent in your HR zone.
I live in the countryside. I can only imagine that the unit would be less reliable in a more urban environment.
Some people have mentioned problem with carbon frames and/or forks. I use this unit of three bikes. They're all carbon. The unit actually works fine with my time trial bike. I suspect this is due to me being in the aero position and my body shielding the unit from interference.
All in all, using this HRM/computer is a frustrating experience."

Polar CS100 Wireless HRM Cycle Computer
"nice product with good features BUT after a few weeks stopped working. Irregular or no heart rate and no speed. Other reviewers had similar problems ?? related to carbon frame.. Wiggle were fantastic-took it back and refunded me including postage within 2 working days."

cs100 beware !!!!!!!!
Cons: Low Quality
"Beware If you have a carbon frame or forks you may have problems in the transmission causing the computer to mis-read, After returning the unit 3 times directly to Polar they eventually admitted this is a problem with their units even though there is no reference to this possible problem in the hand book. This is no reflection on wiggle who have an excellent returns policy but polar need to get it sorted."

Cycle Computer and HRM
Pros: High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Not Enough Features
"I have used two other units but this is the first with the HRM function. It seems accurate as I have carried out my own measurements and provides a wealth of information. Sometimes I find it complicated to navigate to particular information depending on what I am looking at when I go searching. The setup was relatively simple and the mounting of all the bits was simple enough. The only thing I would like to see was an overall odometer setting to allow me to see what distances I am doing on a cumulative basis. Otherwise it was good value and does what it says it should do."

Unintuitive
"In non HRM mode the screen layout is not very configurable. I had probs getting the heart rate monitor to work. Looks chunky and outdated. As a cycle computer my old Cateye Strada was nice nicer to use. Rather old now, so if you want HRM capabilities I suggest spending a bit more..."
