Why pay more
Pros: Good Fit, Great Value, Lightweight
"well this weighs in at a whopping 35g but then it does cost less then £5. It would cost nearly £90 to get down to a 18g and frankly I could never imagine spending that much for a 17g saving. I am sure that some people would always go for the expensive carbon one but for me that's just silly.
Any how the cage works brilliently and holds bottles securly in place while giving easy access when needed.
Once again why pay more when this cage is all you need"

Good looking basic cage that works really well.
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Great Value, function
"Cages fall into two main types based on cost - You either spend a lot and get a trick carbon fibre work of art or spend a lot less for a metal or plastic item which is either good or quite frankly rubbish.
If you can't justify the cost of a carbon cage over the tiny weight advantage (smart -especially if you run two cages - you can be looking at £80+!) then I would seriously recommend this cage.
The LifeLine Basic cage is towards the "very good" end of the plastic/metal ranges. It has an attractive design and is made of of strong, thick plastic.
However, what I really like is how easy it is to grab and re-load bottles on the move. Its firm and positive grip means I'm not struggling to locate the bottle back after a drink and I always feel confident the bottle is secured straight away. My other cage IS a trick carbon one and that feels too light - it always has me looking down to check and I've even dropped bottles out of that one.
In summary: Well made, good looking (for plastic), excellent "feel", and superb value.

Pros: Great Value, Lightweight
"Now let's see how long it lasts. Feels a bit flimsy but might just be sturdy enough,"

How high tech does a bottle cage have to be?
Pros: Great Value, Rugged
"To be honest, how much advantage do you gain from saving 40g on a non-moving part... and what are you prepared to pay for that?
This is cheap, effective and you can't anchor a boat with it.. win all round."

Cheap but poor Quality
Cons: Low Quality, Wears Out Easily, Poor Fit
"I bought this based on a really cheap price and thought you don't need an expensive bottle holder. Unfortuntely this cage rattled constantly when no bottle was in the cage as where it came together at the top kept on hitting together every time I ran over any slightly rough road. I actually bought 2 and 2 snapped completely. I spoke to wiggle who refunded straight away with no quibble so I can't complain about service. I then went on to buy a couple of cheap aluminium holders which work great. Cheap does not always have to be nasty like it is with these."

Great for the Price
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"It works as expected. More attractive than metal cages of approximately the same price point. Looks like some carbon bottle cages, but it's plastic. May not be as light as a carbon cage, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper.
Wish it could come in other colours, though.

Good Purchase
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Happy with this purchase as it is lightweight, looks good on the bike and was easy to fit. It also is a perfect fit for the Science in Sport 800ml water bottle which it holds nice and securely."

Good purchase
"Cheap yet they look great on my Ridley. Only complaint is that you need a smaller "fatter" water bottle as the thinner ones tend to rattle around a little bit"

"Does exactly what it says ont he tin. Nothing fancy but holds the bottle tight. They will snap eventually but that is to be expected at this price"

Okay
Pros: Attractive, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Low Quality
"I brought this as my second bottle holder and wanted something light and cheap. That it is.
I would say that it is possible that would brake under harsh treatment but it does the job I need it for."

Pros: Durable, Great Value, Good Fit
Cons: Bulky
"Not a piece of finessed design or manufacture more a lump of solid plastic. It will do what it promises. I was looking for something for my training bike so weight was not an issue."
