Lights Good, Brackets bad.
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality
Cons: Unadjustable
"The lights themselves are excellent, used them loads since I bought them and the batteries are still going. However the brackets are difficult to get off once they're on. This is especially prevalent with the rear bracket as it gets clogged with mud and I can't get mine off anymore. Light comes off, so its not a huge problem but it'd be nice to be able to use the rear one on my road bike as well."

"...and you can never have too many rear lights either. Time will tell what the construction quality is, but so far I don't have any complaints."

"Great lights, I use rechargeable hybrid batteries with them. Only wish that I could release the front light easier especially in cold weather with cold fingers... can be a bit demanding, but that's the mount & nothing to do with the lights.
The front light is a bit big & takes 4 AA's... so not easily to stow in your pocket with out the bulge if your also heading out.
A better mount system would be nice, as it's hard to get the darn thing off in the cold or with gloves on :("

Good lights but watch out
Pros: Great Value, Good Fit
Cons: Bulky
"Very good lights that fit easy. The front light is heavy and has fallen of on me. Hopefully not a design fault, time will tell. I was able to put it back together. The weight of the front light makes it jump around a bit and i would not purchase another like it for this reason. In saying that, the lights are otherwise bright."

Good lights
Pros: Great Value
"This set of lights is primarly for being seen on the road, not for lighting up the road in front of you.
This was what I wanted them for so they do the job well.

The light fantastic
Pros: Great Value, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
"Having had a fair few light sets over the years, from cycling to school and back, to now, where I am a cyclist in my mid 40's, I can honestly say this is the best set of lights I have ever purchased! Though they only take AA & AAA batteries, the light from the LED's is bright enough for me to see and be seen too. They are quick and easy to fit and best of all they stay put when you fit them! The quick release works well and the rear light clip is able to rotate so can be mounted on any parts of clothing or a bag. I have not dropped them or anything yet but they seem to be robust enough and there are no metal parts to rust so should last a long time. I think for the cost of this set the value is unbeatable (no I don't work for Cateye), in fact I cannot think of a bad thing to say about them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!"

A set of lights for in town
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality
Cons: rubbish attachments
"These are suitable for cycling in town where it is well light already. they are not bright enough to illuminate darker back roads or lanes. That said they get you seen as well as other lights when in traffic or cycling along in town.
My negative would be the attachments which I think should be more permanant than the screw on screw off type. These are quite loose so you can adjust it a little as you cycle but I prefer to buy the replacements that you can get from wiggle too.
I'd recommend for someone looking for a cheaper simple set of lights."

Great lights for the road
Pros: High Quality, long battery life
"I bought these lights for commuting through the dark mornings and afternoons and have been pleasantly surprised in most respects.
The front light is bright enough to get you noticed when on the road, but would probably not be bright enough to light the way on a pitch black road, but then that is pretty much what I was after for this kind of money.
The light did fall off my handlebars once whilst I was doing about 25km/h, which shows that the retaining clip for the light is not perfect, however the light survived with only a few scratches and a gouge to the casing. The battery has lasted the entire autumn and winter (and still going!) in flashing mode, which I think is very impressive considering its in use for 20ish hrs per month.
The rear light is not the brightest on the market but is adequate for street work. Again, the battery life of the light impressed me. It lasted the same amount of hours as the front light with no signs of dying yet.
So far, very pleased with this safety critical bit of kit."

A great front light...
Pros: Great Value, good front light pattern
Cons: rear light isn't enough on its own
"The front light is excellent with a fairly diffused pattern, good for lighting the ground in front. I use this to fill in the slightly over focused beam from my Cat eye EL530 giving me good close and far vision. The flashing mode is also great in traffic. Front light would probably be sufficient on its own for road riding with street lighting but it won't see far enough on its own if there is no other lighting.
The rear light is a little feeble though. The viewing angles aren't very wide and the lamps aren't especially bright. It works very well for me as a secondary light but I wouldn't want to ride far with this as my only rear lamp."
