Class that makes you stand out

"I found these hoods very easy to fit no need for any heating or lubricating. Look fantastic and feel somewhat more snug than the originals. They also seem to look a little smaller and reduce the kind of bulbus look of campag 11 speed. I have ridden about 800km with these and no sign of movement. Easily cleaned after riding."

Fit is not quite right - opening for operation of the down lever is not quite as open as OEM, however doesn't seem to interfere with operation of the downshift lever."

Pretty, but sloppy fit

"I received this item to fit on 10speed Record levers. Whilst they look great, and installation was easy. I would still have like to see some instructions, as replacing brake hoods is not a common everyday event like replacing a tube or a tyre, and they have instruction on them.
I have been having problems with these hoods slipping and twisting causing all kinds of frustration and interfering with gear shifting.
Maybe some sort of glue or sticky substance is required to keep them stationary, except this could possible cause more problems than it solves.

I would recommend this to a friend who needs replacement hoods like I did. However it will be on the proviso that it is a pain to have to keep resetting, whilst riding too mind you."

"Nice to see you can now get coloured hood covers in other colours than black.
well made, comfortable and a good fit, though I did need to cut the slot for the down shifter slightly wider when used with campy ergo v2's (I found made them shift better as they bind on the hoods) but not a big deal."

Perfect Fit and Look Superb

"I purchased the Red V2 version of these hoods to go on my new Centaur Carbon Levers.
The fit is superb.
They went on with no problems at all.Didn't have to "warm them up" as others seem to have needed to do.
The softer rubber compound is much easier on the hands than the standard Campag hoods.

"Of course we only buy these so that our bikes look better co-ordinated with a splash of colour, but it`s a bonus that they are a little softer and grippier than the original versions. Not difficult to fit and they seem to clean up easier, too. Would definitely recommend"

"I Brought a pair of these for Campy 9 speed ergos and at first thought they were good but after 6 months their fit became loose and in the end I had to replace them after only 7 months of use. The Original campag hoods are still way better!"

Ultegra onto 105 5600

"I bought the Ultegra model for my 105 5600 shifters.
They fit, not perfectly but I am satisfied with my purchase.
The Shimano ones are difficult to fit; don't be fooled. It will require unwrapping the bar tape, loosening the STI's and removing the brake cable fully. A little challenging if you have internal routing to the rear cable and the bit I found most challenging; rerouting the cable through the frame.
Since it was the first time I have done anything like this it did take me a long time, I have however learnt some features of the bike for future fettling.
I didn't replace the hoods for cosmetic reasons merely as mine on my Cayo needed replacing.
I hope you fight through and get the buggers fit."

Imperfect fit and Colour

"These replacement hoods aren't quite the same shape as the originals and this shows in the fit. It's not bad but just a tiny bit out which is annoying but doesn't affect the performance.
The fitting procedure is simple and they're comfy to hold and use.
The quality is very good and they hold up well to wear and dirt, in fact they don't go off as quickly as SRAMs equivalent in my experience.
Unfortunately the colours don't match Cinelli cork tape but I'd hope they match one brand!"

"Slightly harder rubber than the SRAM originals which probably means they are a bit tougher. Fit is slightly wonky. Don't really notice any difference in everyday use, but they match cinelli bar tape perfectly and I'm a bike tart."

"I purchased the DA 7800 in white and have now done 3 rides with them including one of 100kms. Fitting was easy once they were warmed up a bit.
Once fitted I have found them more comfortable than the OE unit, cleaning is easy. Recommended."

Campag Hudz - feel is poor
"I bought some of these for Campag 11 speed ergos in red to match my bike.
Feel is poor compared to Genuine Campagolo.
Fitting is tight and mine didn't fit particually well.
They do look nice but I wont buy them again."
