Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Versatile, practical, easy to maintain
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"So I have been the proud owner of this particular bike for a couple of months now and it looks as good now as it did out of the box, so that the first point - it looks good!
Performance? Well it has worked hard, I have managed to do long distance fast paced road riding, long tours (with luggage) and not to mention the spec for the bike -moutain bike riding. Result? - It will do all these, but generally I would stick to off road jobs. Still impressed it kept up with some nippy road bikes!!!
Features? Not the top spec in the world, yet there is a gut feeling that you have a reliable piece of engineering here, nothing 'fancy' to go wrong. Even so, the performace is maintained, lockouts are just that for example. Rear shock is wonderfully adaptable; provided you have a shock pump capable of up to 300 psi. Brakes are great on two 185mm rotors. There is also the added bonus of a pop-lock for those 'Recons'; a nice touch.
The biggest feature for your money is the chainset and rims, super duper good. Slick changes in all terrain and so easy to maintain afterwards. Can't fault this. The rims are so slick looking, yet strong and smooth, smashing.
Finally, after test riding other bikes, (hardtails too), when you ride this bad boy, you feel 'in' the bike, not 'on it'. This is rare; yielding a fabulous feel and level of comfort that makes every ride shear pleasure. Big bang for your buck, no other spec has all the pros for minimal cons ----- 'focus' on this brand."

Excellent Full Susser
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, Rugged
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I have just bought the bike, it arrived on Wednesday and i took part in a 20Km tough XC race on Friday.
The overall bike was great. The tyres struggled in the very muddy conditions but both the front and rear shocks performed well enough given that they had not bedded in. I was suprised at its agility uphill but the Avid brakes on the downs were not as good as i had hoped.
That said, for the money i do not think you would find a better bike and i am very chuffed with my purchase.

Focus Super Bud Expert 2009
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"I bought this bike because it looked exeptional value for money and when I recieved the bike, my thoughts came true. I have done around 200 miles so far, but not done any serious DH and I love this bike. The lockouts work well, i commute to work on it and it works great on the road.
This is a very flexible bike for the budget, the only part I would change is the rear shock, but that even works ok."

Bargain
Pros: Adjustable, High Quality, Lightweight
"Bought this bike for less than £700 and was impressed from the first second i rode it. The front and back lock-outs were a major suprise and work really well for commuting. The brakes arent the best ive used but still cant argue for the price. All in all a brilliant piece of Kit for the price."

bargin buy
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Great Value, Lightweight
"got mine this morning and felt like a big kid at christmas, not being an expert but loving just being out there on the bike i must say this is overall the best buy bike i have purchased, apart from the peddals the bike is full of high quality components, the peddals will be going, no doubt.
the lock out suspension is fantastic, the paint job is as good as any other bike i have seen and ive seen a few in the last months while looking for a new bike, cant wait to really have a go and test it properly but an injury and up coming op has limited me to just sitting on it wishing in the back yard.
fantastic servise from Wiggle as usual, the delivery driver even fetched it into the living room for me to build (minimal needed), but dont let the missus know. and now i dont want to put the baby in the shed, as its a bit dusty in there.
buy buy buy, its a quality bargin, two words that are not usually placed together.

great value for money
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"i was originally going to purchase the cheaper pro version but the expert is well worth the extra money .wheels are the amazing mavic crossride , tyres are the £50 each continental , sram groupset is also great value for money. the front recon forks are simple but very effective , the rear raidon shock the same , both have lockouts as well.
the fsa bars and stem are oversized and work well for budget spec as do the seat and seatpost.
the frame looks great , in a flat finish , with great graphics.
the only let downs are the pedals , although like me , most people will change to spd's , the cheap headset , spotted on a £400 halfords carrera, and the truly rubbish avid juicy 3 brakes , they look grear in white but have no feel , no stopping power and inspire no confidence , although i am told all avid juicy set ups a re similar, so these will be the first upgrade.
as for riding , i owned an 8" travel giant faith before this , and i can go down the same descents with as much confidence on this as the giant , and climbing with sus locke out is as good as any other cross country bike i have owned

'Super' by Name, 'Super by my experience'
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
"This is my first ever suspension bike and 'wow' what a difference it makes. For years I had been used to my old faithful solid bike but found it tough going along bridle ways and off road tracks. Having been knocked off by white van man some years ago on my old bike, my confidence had also taken a knock but after a great ride around Guernsey I had regained my interest and searched for new bike.
I initially wanted to spend no more than £750 and a good hunt around locally confirmed my fear that this was somewhat optimistic for a full suspension bike, so upped my limit slightly. I then turned to the web and searched everywhere but kept coming back to this bike. I bit the bullet and took a gamble, something I was more than a little unsure about, especially not having been able to try one out. But after looking over a few hard to find reviews on the web decided to go for it.
A few short days after ordering during a bank holiday and a large box promptly arrived. Minimal setup was needed and I was off for my first ride along my familiar route. I can't say more than 'this bike is a pleasure to ride', handles the bumps well and really got me back into cycling. My only misfortune was a puncture not 5 yards from my house when coming back from my first ride.
I have now done a few hundred miles on the bike and have never looked back (except to see who's behind me of course!). The disc brakes are great, especially when wet. I can now maintain a good speed along my bumpy bridle ways and tracks thanks to the suspension, not shaking me to pieces like my old solid bike. I was pleasantly surprised at how light the bike is, it's probably no heavier than my old one despite the extra stuff needed for the suspension.
A truly great bike."
