excellent kit
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"Had a triple mech on the bike and replaced it with the double mech as I went to a bash plate. The mech is excellent value for money gives a very smooth change and was easy to fit."

"Shimano SLX M665 Front Derailleur for Double Chain set well worth trying if you go to the trail centres a lot - hooked up to a two ring crankset with a bash guard gives you all the gears you need for the downs and the ups..!"

Compact smooth shifter
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, looks and works great with slx double crankset.
"Great piece of kit, works brilliantly with the dual ring/ bashguard SLX crankset. Smooth accurate shifting with a smaller cage as does not need to shift up to large ring, great for Enduro/ All Mountain type bikes. I changed from the stock XT and do not regret it. A little fiddly to set up on my Specialized Enduro but worth the effort. Colour even matches the cranks, buy both with confidence."

Great for working 2x9 setup
Pros: Lightweight, Good Fit
"Quite happy using this for a 2X9 Setup. I wasn't able to adjust/lower my regular LX front derailleur for a removed big ring and kept dropping this chain.
This derailleur is lighter than an XT derailleur yet shifts great for a 2x9. It has a smaller cage for better tire clearance. Cheaper than an XT also.
I'm running a 22-36 in the front with no Bashguard."

Double ring perfect shifting

"This is an amazing mech if you have got rid of the big ring . Its compact , nice short cage, and less bulky than normal 3 ring mech's . I swapped out my XTR for this and there is absolutely no difference."
